For a while now my game is basically unplayable. I’ve tried every solution to fix the problems but none of them work. My FPS just drops severely then picks back up but it’s very consistent therefore the lag is just impossible to play through. I play on the lowest settings for pretty much everything as well.
My system is a Dell Inspiron Laptop.
Processor: Intel Core i7
Graphics: GeForce 940MX
RAM: 16gb
I’ll include a picture of my ctrl+shift+n map too (i’ve forgotten the name) if that helps

Hello Shinu,
The way you described the issue and the information in the link point a bit more towards a performance related issue, rather than a connectivity issue.
Could you please list all troubleshooting steps you already tried? This could help to remove some of the most common causes.
How often these “dips” occur? Have you noticed a certain regularity or they seem to happen randomly?
Please add also a link to your DxDiag and MSInfo files into your reply - you can upload them both to a third-party website, something like Pastebin or any other similar website of your liking. Just make sure a download or a log-in is not required to access them.
As you are playing on a laptop, please make sure your power management settings are on high performance and restart your Pc using a selective startup.

Same thing keeps happening to me man but i have a gaming pc with a direct ethernet connection
Assuming that you also have an FPS drop and your Network graph shows no packet losses and looks similar to the one provided in the first post, that indeed could be a performance-related issue, CyberHero. Please, refer to my previous message and see if the steps suggested there help you.
As you mentioned a gaming PC, check the pre-installed programs especially (there is often a number of them on gaming laptops).
If there are no improvements, please do not add your link to DxDiag and MSinfo file to this thread but create a new one instead.
A crash can have several different causes and mixing 2 potentially unrelated issues in one thread can create a lot of confusion.
Please open your own thread, describe what happens, what troubleshooting steps you already tried, and copy there the links to your diagnostic files. We’ll be happy to look into it for you!
Thank you!

Hi! Thank you for the reply.
For troubleshooting i did most of the ones offered on these forums, I cannot remember every single one since i’ve tried so many but as far as i remember I’ve done a complete reset of my laptop, set all my settings to low, I use a selective start up and i have changed my power performance. I’ve turned off Game DVR and i have updated all my old drivers & optimised the game through NVIDIA’s geforce experience. I also have scanned & repaired overwatch in the Battle . net launcher and it is completely up to date and deleted the cache.
It happens very frequently as soon as the 30 seconds are up and we leave spawn which lasts until the end of the match. It seems random & heightens during fights with the enemy team which is more expected but sometimes it just happens when i am walking to the control point. It doesn’t happen in the menu or during hero selection or when in spawn at the beginning of the match.
Uploaded on pastebin, I can’t include links and can’t figure out how but this is the end of the URL.
