Game alt+tabs itself, then I can't move the mouse

A couple times now Overwatch just alt tabs itself, then I can’t move my mouse away from the centre of the screen without it immediately moving back, which means I can’t select overwatch again, but need to restart my computer. Is there something which is causing this that I can fix or is it something else?

Hi.
What hardware configuration do you have? From what I noticed this problem occurs on weaker hardware and therefore Blizzard does not recommend using ALT+TAB in Overwatch.

I have a gtx 1080 but my CPU is an I5, but I’m upgrading it to a ryzen 7 2700x, but I need to get a new motherboard otherwise it will be severely underclocked apparently, would that help? Also, what do you mean ‘using alt+tab’? it doesn’t happen when I try to go to desktop, if that’s what you mean, it just goes to desktop itself and I think the mouse just treats it as if its still in overwatch.
