Game crashes and computer/monitor keep turning off with it

Whenever I go into Overwatch, after a couple of minutes my screen freezes and my computer turns off then back on, but the monitor won’t turn back on. The only way I am able to fix this is by unplugging the computer. I thought it was on my end, but my computer works fine when I’m doing something else. I tried the game for the sixth time and I got put on the login screen where it said client requested disconnect. I tried once again and it kicked me out of the game, but my computer didn’t turn off. Blizzard then gave me a notification on using cookies and now battlenet won’t open. Is it something my computer doing or something else? Thanks

Hey @MmmmmToasty,

Have you recently updated your graphics card? Can you play any other game in full screen?

Hello MmmmmToasty,

The fact that your computer completely turns off, and that the monitor sometimes isn’t turning back on, could indicate a hardware or system issue. If none of the steps I’m going to give you solve the issue, I would recommend taking your computer to a local technician, so they can make sure that everything is working properly.

Make sure both your operative system and drivers are up to date:

Delete the Battle.net Cache folder:

Repair the game:

Close background applications to make sure there’s no other program interfering with the game:
