Twice now I’ve had an issue while playing Overwatch and I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the game or a problem with my PC. Posting here in case it’s the former.
I’ll be playing a match when all of a sudden, my screen goes black for a couple seconds. When the screen comes back up, I’m suddenly back on my desktop with the Blizzard launcher. However, I can still hear the game and the match is clearly still active. I think I’m even able to control my character but obviously I can’t see anything. It’s like the game is still active but either hidden behind the Blizzard launcher or maybe shrunk down to my task bar?
It’s impossible for me to check, however, because when this happens, my mouse gets stuck in the middle of the screen. My pointer is in the middle of the screen and I can move it slightly but if I go to far, like a rubber band it bounces back to the center so I can get it anywhere near the task bar to test anything. All I can do is use Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up the task manager and force the game to close which is very annoying.
Has anyone ever experienced something like this? Know a fix? Are there any keyboard keys I can press to navigate the task bar if the mouse is unavailable?
