So something strange has started happening to me today, twice the game has frozen but I can still hear the game audio running in the background, and if I press any buttons I can hear my character attacking etc.
I can see on my partner’s monitor (we game in the same room) that my character is still moving and running around when I press keys but the game ‘image’ has totally frozen on my screen. I can tab out of the game and back in but it’s still just frozen.
I wouldn’t mind the odd crash but this has happened twice today while playing competitive, the first getting me a three minute ban and the second time a 20 minute ban. Now I’m too afraid to try competitive again. But the strange thing is this only happened in competitive, I’ve tried numerous games in quick play and death match and there have been absolutely no issues.
All my drivers are up to date and so is Windows, and there is no other software running in the background apart from a browser on my second monitor watching Twich.
