Game server connection failed... Retrying

Hi, I got disconnected from Overwatch and now when I try to reconnect I get this message. Then it gets into the queue (5000 players ahead of you right now) and even when I get to the end of the queue, it just fails to connect me. I guess there is something wrong with the servers ? How many people can’t login ? I guess the technical team should be warned of this problem if it’s not already the case. I can’t see anything for today on Blizzard CSEU twitter account. Thanks.

Same here, playing in NL got kicked from game with server error, queues on login then “Unexpected server error”

Wonder if the sudden influx of Black ops 4 players has anything to do with it… does anyone know if they share the same servers now that it’s launched through the bnet app?

Same here. My WoW sub ended and thought of jumping into OW again tonight …

FFS Blizzard. Work you s**t out. I have been disconnected 4 times in last 5 min , now cant log in at all , 4k in que and after reaching 0 error. After all that i get penalty for leaving game. “Good” Job!!!

i tried to login and i got the same message. i got in a queue and then (an unexpected error accured) normally i get this when i log in before updating ow so i relogged but no update…

Same is here. Disconnect with “internal server error”
Relogin - again “internal server error”
relogin - wait with 5000 aheado fo me to get “internal server error” again

Now in queue for 3rd time , like 5000 ahead of me. I am afraid I will get this error again after my queue will end

Blizzard CS EU has just announced that there were issues and they are investigating. I guess we’ll have to wait before we can play OW.

Same here, but mine doesn’t automatically retry, it just sends me to login/password screen.

I got kicked twice now it says there are 8000 players ahead of me. I might call it for tonight… :frowning:

Currently there are some problems with servers. Blizzard is investigating the problem.
Suggests stopping ranking games until problems are resolved.

Damn Blizzard. And again you screwed up! How many players loose thier SR because? A lot more than you think… And this happens not even one per year. This is happening all the time! For example “Summer Games 2018” no one could not even connect to servers after an hour of event launch! Why is this happening all the time…:pensive:

Please, keep in mind that the forum doesn’t have 24/7 support. However, we always inform about general service issues through Twitter (@BlizzardCSEU_EN).

If you’re still having connection issues, please create a new thread including the following data:

  • City/Country:
  • Internet Provider:
  • Traceroute (right after a disconnection or whenever you’re experiencing the issue)
  • Pathping (right after a disconnection or whenever you’re experiencing the issue)
  • WinMTR (right after a disconnection or whenever you’re experiencing the issue)
