I can never play zarya if orisa is on my team
I can never play widow if orisa on enemy team

Yea yea yea svitch. Problem is that I svitch constantly because I see it 99% of games.

Its absolute brainless hero. Why would anyone play it.

people not being able to kill briggite was ridiculous but people not being able to kill orisa is just…

Maybe all those orissas don’t really want to play orissa but they have to cause everyone wants to play Widow and hanzo?

if you cant flank round the orisa shield then your just a crappy widow
seriously widow is highly mobile don’t just camp in one spot all the time and you’ll do fine.

Also totally don’t see why you cant play Zarya… like when is she not useful…
you can bubble a mercy going in for a rez, you can bubble a pharah, you can bubble anyone low on health including the very very valuable Orisa.

You can still totally get lots of value on her… plus if you work together you can always make sure the graveton surge catches absolutely everything by using halt to jank them close enough to grab anyone trying to avoid it.

Or if you surged near the well but didn’t plop everyone in she can wait for it to end then drag them all in lol.

having similar abilities does not mean they are less useful it just means you can work together towards a common purpose.

just make sure you communicate with the orisa

OP is wrong about many points (of course you can still play Zarya) but I can’t deny Orisa, and with her, the bunker comp, is just way too prevalent at the moment. In lower brackets, gold and below, without exaggeration 3/4th of the time it’s bunker with a Bastion and Orisa, and often Baptiste as well.

I know, it’s not that hard to counter, but it’s just boring - also when it’s in your team. Half of the time after attacking, people are asking for Orisa, Bastion and Baptiste, and then an entire team has to play around the Bastion - and when it fails, it fails bad, because no one has a backup plan in lower brackets. People seem to think Bastion and Orisa at the moment, is the answer to everything.

complain, winge, exasperate etc the meta is too meta blizz fix plox… complain, winge exasperate etc I can’t play my favorite hero because X is stopping me from Y and Z is so unfun blizzard fix plox*

seriously… this community are such a bunch of complainers…

first they didn’t like dive… so blizzard fixed it with briggite… then they diddnt like goats… so they nerfed briggite into the ground and fixed it for 95% of the player base…

now they are complaining that bunker is a thing… “fyi” it really isn’t… as 90% of my matches consist of double sniper and whoever has the better snipers win…

grow up… learn to live with the fact your hero may never be meta… and either play your hero regardless and have fun, or play a different hero…

alternatively play a different game…

As someone who mains Orisa, the reason why this tank is everywhere and so necessary, is because of CC. We have so many heroes that can hard dive and CC the hell out of Rein and the other tanks. We also have so many snipers and long range characters who can burn and poke Rein and he can do nothing unless his dps is helping.

In light of all that, Orisa is a godsend. She can fight Reaper and win with decent skill. Stop CC and hold a frontline relatively well, she also can poke back and apply pressure to ranged dps who try burning her down. Thats why shes everywhere. She isn’t a cure all. If she gets pushed on by the enemy team, unless shes got all her dps behind her, generally speaking she’ll fall.

You can still play Zarya, you’ll just have to play smarter and communicate. You can play widow, just take different angles and exploit her lack of movement. Hope I managed to give some insight as to why a tank main would want to master this hero quickly :smiley:

The main problem with bunker is not many folks know how to beat it. They think, “Oh lets just out dps them” and yeah that could work but you’ll waste so much time just getting 1 pick for a Mercy to Rez.

Bunker comp in my opinion is better to play against than GOATS becaue GOATS is just run head first into each other hope micro plays made by your teams wins the fight. Bunker can be stopped with goo positioning and rotations. Bunkers weakness is that range is a bit rubbish, and they can barely move, and if they do move, they leave themselves open to all sorts of hell.

Rotating around a bunker comp and then using point presence to move them, then exploit that weakness is key. Of course not everyone will do that, but it separates players with good game sense and planning from the brain dead, “press W into it POG”

Orisa probably requires more skill than any other hero in the game. :yum:

As a Zarya main, Orisa is not the most ideal tank to have on the team simply because I always find her shield gets in the way of bubbles and getting max charge from them but honestly her shield is such an asset to the team and blocking incoming dmg that I don’t complain.

Whoah, calm down there, bub. Can a person still express his opinion here? I couldn’t care one bit about what is meta or not or whether my hero is in it, you don’t even know what hero I main. Just saying that I think the current gameplay where everybody has to play around Bastion is getting boring for me. You are free to disagree, just don’t call me a whiner for having a different opinion than you, ok, thanks? I never even complained about dive or goats before. Where was this attack coming from, you have some personal issues or something?

And Danisinsane, I am actually talking more about having bunker comp in my own team, so it’s not because I don’t know how to beat it. It’s just that in the lower brackets, people seem to think just going Bastion, Orisa and Baptiste seems to be the answer to everything, and I personally find that boring to play. And dangerous too, because in lower brackets people just have no backup plan and are completely run over when countered in a bunker comp.

and I am a bastion main… perhaps 1 in 1000 games I get to play him and be effective… bunker no matter how much people complain about it is not a thing…

so as previously said… stop complaining… I never get to play the hero I like the most, I just get on with it

Utility in this game is just bad sh.it crazy OP.

Nah they are just forced to play that stuff because its easy and it wins games.
On a side note Hanzo is low key good vs Orisa.

No, 90% of characters do require aim, higher than that in fact, just because you can’t, doesn’t mean the characters don’t.

I started playing Orisa mainly because of tons of hitscans on the enemy team, including Widowmaker.

Most are…

Hanzo, brainless 1 shot arrows
Widow, brainless camping one shot sniper
Hammond, brainless roll around killing people
Bastion, most brainless hero there is, spamming left click
Pharah, brainless flying around spamming one button.

Orisa actually has to protect the team so it does require some skill to keep people that need shielding, shielded.
