Genji QOL Suggestion

TL;DR Allow double jump to not be put on cooldown (or exhausted or whatever) if used next to a wall (like Hanzo).

When Hanzo was reworked he also received his leap ability. If you’ve played him you’ll notice that if you are close to a wall (and haven’t used wall climb yet) and jump towards it the leap won’t be put on cooldown. This is their to ensure that Hanzo’s don’t accidentally use their movement ability while trying to setup. Genji has a similar ability to Hanzo in his double jump. However if he tries to climb a wall in midair he will use his second jump in the process (unless you hold space after your initial jump or are using “Climb walls automatically”). I suggest allowing Genji to have a similar jump to Hanzo where it won’t be put on cooldown if next to a wall.

How about while they fix that, they fix Deflect’s hitbox (which was promised in summer; we’re in summer!) and the bug that lets him do 88 things at once.

And they fix the absurdity that is Swift Strike resetting on assists.

That’s unrelated to what I was talking about. I never said that other aspects of Genji were perfect or didn’t need changing.

If were gunna talk about deflect I think it should block shield bash from brig since thats more overtuned then anything genji has ever had. But if you want to nerf genji more with the abysmal state he is in go for it I guess.

what’re you talking about ? they did reduce his deflect hitbox by alot

but yeah swift strike hitbox need to be cut a bit as well
