Like the title said; How can Genji Ult after an succesfull hack? This happened to me 3 times now… I’ve watched the replays from both sides and the hack was complete! Recorded the footage and I was wondering if more have experienced this “glitch”. Have you by any means?

That does look strange. My only guess would be some kind of latency which showed two different timings for both players. Kind of like how a player will shoot someone in an FPS and the player who died was already behind the wall, some kind of delay?
There is a time between hacking and being hacked. I think the case was he pressed Q the moment you hacked him which still activates his ultimate. But he can’t dash or use any other skill so its pretty useless and harmless. In this case he ruined his ult.
Indeed! Happened with a Lucio aswell. Hacked um while wallriding and on the last second of a second he booped me. The hack was not fully complete and he Ulted, but he had the Ult icon above his head. That should indicate that the hack should be complete.
Yeah, latency is the only solid explanation I could think of myself. How’s your ping in general?
It’s 23~27’ishh. Doesn’t happen often cause it’s a timing thing but still, this shouldn’t happen imo. Here’s a other example of things that shouldn’t happen in this game.
I’m making a other post about this one. I often get killed like this or put down to sleep by Ana and like the topic issue of this post, this shouldn’t be happening…
