As the title says, get rid of stacks. Everyone is SOLO. Only way to save this game. With the amount of players you are just cannibalizing. Its simply going down hill.

There was some talk during blizzcon that there would be separate queues for stacks and solos on the comp side in season 9

So you want to prevent friends group to play a Team based hero shooter to supposedly save the game? How will that help?

I get the vague logic here. But it would literally kill the game.
Itâs meant to be a fun team game, played with friends and like minded souls.
Itâs why they are loosening the grouping restrictions next season for bronze to diamond.

And I ll tell you something different. Got invited to stacks on multiple occasions, after winning a game both from my team and enemy team just to be told in person how much I suck at this game or something along those lines. I was like âwow the fffkâ. So you can imagine why I insist on holding on to my solitude, and sanity at the same time.
Well not all is bad though, made some real life friends as well. Its a very rare occurance though (2, take it or leave it lmao).

Today I had 2 stacks on both sides, same stacks, in 2 consecutive games, both super toxic as well! what is this matchmaker doing. I feel betrayed as a solo player Im not your playdough, Im a player as well. Had to put both on ban list to get rid of that crap, later games were WAYYY more enjoyable. Who ever programmed the matchmaking may contact me, I would like to have a stern talk with that tool of a person.
Blizzard give us solo que as well. Check twitter, reddit, us forum. Majority solo que, we have no interest in facing the same stacks 3 matches in a row or a booster helping friends.
This is also why there will never be âGuildsâ. Discord channels already abuse QP mechanics, one leaves the other one enters Q and gets into that same game, I remember doing this in some other game dont remember which now.
Game simply needs hard rules, with all the stacks trying to game the system⊠its just disgusting. Yes, a fair gameplay for all but not with ppl trying to cheat the system to get an advantage.
I started my OW gaming journey tonight to learn heros I dont play, IMMEDIEATELY 5 stacks, try harding, dude its QP wtf are you even doing here, go comp, you have a team, you just dont have the balls.
I used to have a team, we always played comp, no one was interested in QP, 5 man stack no one leaves tbh, there shouldnt be smaller stacks than a 5 man, all or nothing, one leaves all get the penalty. No cheating the leaving mechanic, which shouldnt exist in the first place.
You wanna play with your friend go play those battle royale games, apex and pubgâŠ

I think the key element here will be the tank matchup, you match up plat to masters tank just because there is also a masters mercy on the enemy team will not be nice games. Tank diff non-stop, weâll see.
They should just allow those content creators to match up, on the other hand a pure Solo Q sounds sweet tbh. I have a feeling its gonna be a big win among competetive folks who wanna test their metal. You gotta play good, you gotta communicate good.

That isnât how it will work. If you have a plat tank, they will have a plat tank in their stack.
Stacking will result in longer queues.
It think it will yes⊠I dont think its gonna be a 1 to 1 matchup with other stacks, that would be too long of queue times. This is sanctioned smurfing and boosting at the same time.
I dont think this is gonna work as intended. This is a bandaid for content creators we all love and watch, to team up in real games instead of creating custom ones.
As long as the solo Q is genuine, im here to watch the drama unfold.

Not really. If you are bronze playing with 4 diamonds⊠You will be playing against 4 diamonds and a bronze⊠so there will be no real imbalance.
Smurfing has always been soft ok anyways, because people donât report derankers enough.
Only if they allow GM/Champion players to actually stack⊠they will most likely still be locked into a 2 stack limit. So they could in theory queue with a bronze player⊠But they will be matched with a same bronze/GM duo as well.
This is assuming the wide stacking works above diamond. Below diamond it will make zero difference anyways.
