Hey folks
I’m a little bit sad that I recieve messages from Blizzard ingame, that tell me that I’ve been reported recently. I love to play Total Mayhem very much and sometimes player get very frustrated and pick on me because I play certain heroes that they don’t like or that counter their heroes. I don’t pay attention to those players but they seem to report me nevertheless. Wouldn’t cross my mind to be insulting in a rude or hurting manner.
It’s now the third time in a row that I got this message and I’m afraid of getting suspended for no reason …
Will Blizzard actually read the chat or investigate what happened before suspending? It just worries me and I almost feel like quitting the game because I just can’t handle the toxicity…
Stay safe and healthy everyone
Alan
If you have received a message saying you’ve been reported. It is because of a lot of reports over a prolonged period of time.
If you are receiving them in game, while playing. That could just be a troll.

I get the message when I log in. It’s been the 3rd time within 2 weeks - that’s why I’m asking. It’s not ingame.
Orange one? Saying please behave?
That means you have been reported a lot of time over a long period of time. Not from one game.
So maybe there is more that you are not telling us.
Yes, the orange one.
Like I said: It’s not from one game - obviously people tend to report for no reason or when they feel offended by something that wasn’t even harsh. The last “bad” thing I said was: “get a life” and that was to a toxic player saying his team is trash.
I usually make toxic people know that I’ll report them and that might result in “okay, I’ll report you, too.”
I would NEVER insult anyone in the game, but I let toxic player know that they behave childish or, like I said, that they should get a life.
That’s all there is to it - that’s why I’m asking. If I would be toxic I wouldn’t even ask because then I’d obviously deserve it.
Example from the last game:
Me: “can we maybe have proper DPS or counter?”
Teammates: “stop whining and complaining”
Why do they take it so negatively … I was kindly asking but they report me for things like that… (I guess)
Yeah. Sounds like they are just annoyed with people passive aggressively moaning.
Maybe just dont do that. Focus on what you can do to help what your team has picked.
No point ever asking for swaps, unless there is constant dialogue about what comp to play.

I got a warning ingame that I been reported a lot…
Then I got a ban from voice chat + text chat for 1 week…
To be fair, i deserved it. I was raging so hard while in competative, and pretty much lost controll of what I said and wrote to people.
After this happend to me, I am calm, I don’t say mean stuff to people, and try have a more positive mindset even when We lose or have “bad team mates”.
If I did continue as I had, I think my account would most likely been banned now. Be careful how you guys are ingame and how you talk to people. I also learned to mute “toxic” people who try get emotions out of me, just advice you can do too
Oddly after been more calm, and thinking before I speak, I climbed in rank. I rather give suggestion how we can maybe win games more easy, then scream out these days! And if people don’t want to take my advice I don’t rage about that either. People are able to play what they want, they payed for the game, who am I to tell them what to do!

We all get mad at others for doing dumb things.
But what’s the point in shouting at them. Firstly the mistake has already been made, so it is too late. Secondly, they are not going to play better with some rage machine screaming in their ear.
If you get mad, just leave voice and focus on your game play and chill out.
