Wouldn’t it be nice if you could gift/trade loot to a friend?
Wouldn’t be bad at all, for us players.
Would be pretty huge bad for blizzard to lose tons of lootbox cash. Why should they?
Don’t tell me your benefits, tell me the profit blizzard is making with this change…
If you have some, maaaybe it can become true.
But I don’t see any benefit for blizzard outside of losing more money.
Maybe limit it to, if opening a duplicate, you can gift it to a friend, but only then.
But as said, I don’t see blizzards benefits
how about that it would make the players feel more appreciated, and thus they would play more, which will end up leading to more players in their base and make residual sales that way.
It would also help players connect because people would be in chat more communicating /wtt mercy skin for reaper skin
This would lead to a Mercy main, meeting up with a reaper main. Thats a pretty cool combo that could lead to making more parties, and thus more competetive matches. (Better matches too!!)
The more positive the interactions between players, the more players are willing to spend money (not just on overwatch) but on blizzard products al across the board!
I also think their lootbox sales won’t go down at all! Because the more people want to play. the more they want certain skins, the more willing they are to spend on new boxes. Look at the inhouse economy world of warcraft made for an example!!
Or how much money blizzard is making off “Game time” being an in game tradeable item.
I think Kawagacy’s suggestion, is right on the money for blizzard!
It would be nice though, I have a skin my friend wants and my friend has one I want
As much as I want it, I just try to view it from a business pov. And i think more players would engage nicely on others, to make friends, so you become the skin, instead of buying more lootboxes. Since you won’t buy lootboxes to get the soldier skin, so you can trade it for a good Symmetra skin. As example.
It would certainly improve the value of legendary skins you don’t want. As you can trade them for a better one for you.
