I’m done with this game. I don’t think I have ever seen such a toxic uncooperative player base in my entire life. 4dps on one team hell why not make it 5. I’m done with it I used to be high diamond now due to players like this I have dropped back to high plat because of uncooperative role switching. This game isn’t fun when all I do is try to get brainless dps players to switch up and play as a team. and im stuck as a tank main getting screwed all from with 4 dps and a brig solo healing. its not fun. trying to organise something is impossible. I’m have decided to boycott this game until a proper role que has been implemented into the game its not fun all I want to do is play the game how its supposed to be played. with team work and there are way to many dps kids who should all just go back to call of duty with their little 360 no scope friends and stop ruining this amazing teamplay focused game. goodbye I really hope you sort it out
Why are you playing main tank with too few heals?
Seriously, either main heal so at least (hopefully) someone else goes main tank, or pick Hog for self healing or Zarya for her shield regeneration (less heals needed) until someone realizes your team needs more healing.
Trust me, it works more than you’d think.
no I mean I main tank as in all of them and I cant seem to do anything and at a high enough rank zarya wouldn’t really get her shield regen in a fight if shes focused down
hog isn’t viable anymore because how many things that can shut him down (mainly ana and brig)
and Zarya without another tank to soak up dmg for her while the cooldowns come down or allow for a bigger bubble target to charge her up faster, isn’t the best strategy.

I’m sorry but this simply is not true. There is no possible way for most people to find groups with this tool in this current state. It is not being used as intended. I avoid it because frankly I have better luck in solo queue. That’s part of the problem with the game, its too based around luck. You either get toxic people that make you not want to play, or people who aren’t even interested in listening to a voice of reason.
I don’t know what the American servers are like but the European ones are awful to play on. I love this game but its so hard to summon the interest any more. I have to force myself to play it. Seriously going to consider deranking down to bronze where I remember everybody being friendly, if not good. The higher rank you get the more you have to be a typical nasty gamer with a thick skin to survive.
I, for one, agree with the OP. Please do something like a role-queue or find me a way to play with people who are not evil or spiteful. Tonight I’ve lost every game due to other people simply being nasty. I no longer want to talk on comms, I no longer want to play anything but support because I feel I can’t. Its becoming a nasty place to hang out, more so since the group finder.
i agree as well the thing is broken and needs fixing, it takes forever to find people and then they leave without a second thought.
i just thought that the OP might wanted to know about it.
i also agree with this, comp needs a roll queue and Blizzard needs to get there act together and clean up the mess that is the trolls and toxicity in the games, instead of endorsing it.
I think after tonight I will give it a rest for a while, till the end of this season at least. If this promised social feature which will now be half a year late doesn’t contribute to a lessening of the horrible time people at my rank have, I’ll just leave altogether I think. Games are supposed to be fun.

I just quit a game, I had gold damage as Ana, even though I was healing and not going for kills/damage, it was more due to the enemy genji trying to flank and kill me so had to defend myself on a number of occasions.
I then write "I have gold damage as Ana? they reply “you’re not doing your job properly” even though the 4 of them are dps heroes, people in this game are just selfish and come across as morons, it is a frustrating experience.
The LFG feature isn’t very good in my experience, often there is only a few groups, I thought a game which apparently has millions of players, that LFG feature would be buzzing but I have seen it with as little as 2 groups to pick. .
Agreed, sometimes there are no comp games but 1-2 derank groups on the EU. First I didn’t know what that was for, how can someone be so dumb and retrded to intentionally derank back to bronze but now I see.
I have made a couple of good 2-2-2 LFG groups for comp but after 2-3 games someone always leaves or with 1 loss the team spirit breaks and when you try to go back to LFG queue people are just not patient anymore and leave.

i already know about this but the problem with that is that it puts you up with a true 6 stack of a friends and it still gives you an unfair advantage plus no one at my tier even uses that option any more
From my experience people who quit the game and make a drama out of it are often toxic, too.

dunno why you make a drama out of this. Be above such things. Ofc you are a human being and have feelings, but dont bother with toxic people and never defend yourself or argue with them. In their minds you are the evil.
Pause the game and remember yourself why you play the game. never ever let someone steal the fun out of you seriously.
I have had many friends on this game but they are either not the right rank to play with me or like me feel if your in a group of less then 4 people its to much based around luck and toxicity. so don’t insult me until you know your facts

At any rate, sounds like you need to find a reliable group of friends to play with. Once I did that, I stopped having problems with this game. No, seriously, I mean zero problems. It probably helps that I main tanks so no one has to wonder who to choose, but just keep that in mind and you will rediscover the fun in this game, I promise you that.

Fair enough you might be the sort who can ignore this stuff but if you are, you’re part of the problem, basically. The way you react is what allows it to spread. All these kids in this thread who’s instant reaction is “Lol maybe ur the toxic one”… its literally these children that are the problem.
If every decent person turned on them hardcore, the problem would either 1/ go away or 2/ have to be broken up by Blizzard. But you don’t. So you’re part of the problem too.
