After updating to the latest windows 10 update, I’ve noticed that although my game is doing OK at 60-70fps in game (low settings, but always is,) the game is stutttering and tearing to the point where I can’t aim properly.
I turned on V-sync, which partially fixed the issue, slightly more smooth, but its not the perfect fix as I can notice the input lag on my end now.
Ive also tried to delete the windows update but it keeps saying my machine is up to date still! Any ideas? Cheers
Im on the same page. My game is running perfect 240+ fps but its just not smooth or responsive at all…
Done all i can to fix it but nothing have helped.
One tip i can try to give you is maybe to pause windows updates. Apperantly it gives overwatch an incredible fps boost.
Try changing from fullscreen to borderless windowed or visa versa… It sometimes happens with me and than i change this - - > then it’s gone
Sometimes it’s back after a patch and then i change it back and the tearing and stuttering is gone
Hi, thanks for the response. I’ve changed it to borderless windowed, and it has fixed the problem! Apparently though borderless windowed causes more imput lag than full screen, so once again not the perfect fix.
If I change back to full screen the tearing/stuttering comes back, so I’ll leave it at borderless for the time being. Cheers again
