I’ve played Overwatch since the first week of the game, without comp, Junkrat’s bombs damaged you, Dva bomb could also hurt you, everything in the game has changed, good changes too, but with Overwatch 2 everything has changed, and it’s bad.

You might think I am whining, I actually bought Overwatch 2 the pack, cause I thought it had something in it, like…something that free players would not get? I didn’t read it, then I found out the only thing I really paid for was 2 skins, and the battlepass, and the battle pass didn’t really matter, cause I was gonna get the new Hero anyway, cause I had overwatch. it was their “Legacy” gift for us.

I played casually, I enjoyed every event, new skins, loot boxses, now all those things are gone, I feel like I am playing for nothing, the shield meta 6vs6 annoying, but the 5vs5 is just as broken.

I feel like a lot of heroes I cannot play, I’d be throwing if I did, because I get hard countered, games change, but I only played through season 1…only because I bought the pack, I wanted to reward I was getting from buying that 40 euro Overwatch 2 Pack, now that’s done. and I am leaving.

Thanks for all the good memories and bad, mostly good, hope you guys see the good in OW2 that I cannot exactly see, I can play other FPS games and get rewards, without paying 20 euros or grind almost half a year for 1 skin.

Yeah I feel the same. I’m playing WoW now since expansion hit so haven’t played OW at all recently. Hope you find a game you enjoy!

And that’s all good! Blizzard doesn’t expect you to play the game for the rest of your life. Will anyone ever in the world remember that ‘Vartoz’ played Overwatch 2? No! And we are all fine with that as well.

That’s a bit toxic, like your other similar post. I mean, sure, and nobody cares about your comment either?

It’s okay for people to be remorseful because the new game did very much kill off the old one, and objectively that was better (check the user-review sites, and read Blizzard’s plurality of “[we recognise we didn’t get everything right]” posts here and on Youtube.

I’d like to think that the game can be redeemed and the gameplay brought back to a good standard that honours the original premise of the game, instead of bowing to groupthink and design by committee.

A lot of visionaries worked on Overwatch, which rose like a phoenix from the ashes of project Titan. As with any creative endeavour there was no guarantee, but the original vision tapped in to a niche that other fps had missed. Sadly the game has regressed and that niche of players is moving on. Sure you can tap some of the (perhaps larger) market for regular FPS by providing the same sort of gameplay and relying on the appeal of the art, characters and backstories… though I do question the logic of pandering to people who like high-pressure dps-centric brawls, typically they’re not so much into the backstory, characters and PvE.

He is spreading lies and misinformation about me.

My main account isn’t suspended, and this “other” account he accused me of being isn’t me.

He has a crazy obsession and it’s just downright creepy at this point. All he does is go on about it. And if I post on my main, all he’ll do is troll about how many posts people have. He is just sad tbf.

Is there a real place to send feedback to the devs about this game because I get the feeling this forum isn’t it.

I want to send real feed back and how the game can improve and bring in more players, not, “I lost a match to this character CHANGE THE GAME!!!”
I want to offer ideas I think will help the game sell, I legit want this to become series like Splatoon heck, There’s so much potential, If they want to sell PVE they should at least offer and story mode that can be played offline solo or played in Online co-op and if they want seasonal missions they can make a season pass that doesn’t require players to race to finish it’ll just be a pass like Smash or other passes that add content as time goes on, I was thinking they can add episodes for a season, kind of like a TV show, new missions cut scenes, give players more bang for their buck and offer something other than PVP, give players a way to unwind within the game.

US forums is probably the best chance you have.

They probably won’t directly interact with you, but if it gains enough traction someone might see it.

Sadly, they have thousands of people play testing the game daily, and lots of specific discord servers for things… And the forums have become a bit of a meme, so they’ll rarely look here.

Yeah if others feel the same way please by all means back me up, I don’t want to have to buy another physical copy that’s gonna useless, at least with offline we still got a game when the servers are down, it worked for Jump Force and fun fact while all the online shops and lobby events are gone you STILL can play it online, The vs mode still works since it’s P2P. So imagine if OW2 closes it’s door but you can still have matches and maybe still co-op all you’ll need is either Xbox Live, PSN or NSO and of course PC players will have their free online (Be careful of hackers though, GTAO taught me that.)

Nah. OW2 is structurally fine.

It’s issue is the current balance. Yesterday’s patch is absolutely awful and borderline unplayable.
