i queued for a comp game and then it just stopped the queue and suspended me
I just returned after a one month ban and like many, I have absolutely no idea what for. I even emailed blizz support and said please send me any chat logs or any profanity you have from me that might have led to this, and I just got back one of those automated responses directing me to the TOS, no real human reply ever.
It is what it is. I mean, the reporting system has always been broken in a way as it’s based on getting a certain number of reports, they don’t have to be justified. So you could get a suspension for playing a hero others don’t like like what used to happen a lot with Torb mains, or telling the team to group up in chat.
Best thing is just turn off voice and chat altogether and don’t communicate with people in OW2 any more, unless playing with friends.

Then you’ll ignore your teammates and be reported for throwing

You can always report people for nothing, no one checks them if they are true or not. If enough is stacked you get punished, you can’t revoke it even if you are not at fault.

Probably from previous games and they finally took action. But then people highly abuse the report system, so it could well be automated. (horrible lazy system)
Appeal it, honestly they really do need to look at their broken system.
Wouldn’t surprise me really lol. They’ll lose even more players if they carry on letting this happen.
I’m in the same situation as you, and I don’t even know what I did wrong. My complaint is exactly the same in every reply they make, which makes me feel like they have it set up as an auto-reply. I tried to contact them by phone but couldn’t find their contact information.

After seeing Roblox being blocked in Turkey because is ‘not moderated enough’ and have a ‘risk for the kids’, I don’t think Blizzard will ever change their report system, maybe one day they will make it more easy to report players, they already announced that in a previous patch notes. It seems there is political implications also in what concerns the moderation of the games…

If they do that, they’ll just destroy their playerbase. It can get easily abused as it is.
Is not the core of the report system, is only UI changes I suppose. They annouced in one of the Defense Matrix updates that they’re working in a new interface for Report system that will be more easly accessible.
