So apparently if you activate Rein or Brigs shield whilst being hacked to try and block it (Because you can’t hack through shields, I think, feel free to correct me) the hack continues anyway.
I know this will be seen as a petty complaint but from Reinhardts point of view there is nothing you can do except accept your death because sombras range is much longer than reins and it just seems quite unfair Rein can’t do anything to stop it.
It is true that you can’t hack someone behind a shield. But I think the shield has to block the hack for a short time - around 0.1 seconds I guess - and due to latency and the “favor the shooter” system, a hack might still succeed.
In your point of view, you might put a shield in time but for Sombra, the shooter, she might see the shield down due to latency.
Due to her quicker hack - it was slower before - this scenario should happen more often. I haven’t seen that once so I can only speculate the reason for that issue.
