Hammond ability ideas

I’ve been playing on the the PTR with hammond lately and i enjoy him but i feel like he doesn’t suit the role of tank that much (from how every tank has been portrayed so far).
So I’ve thought of a few changes that i’d like to share:

Firstly for his ball form instead of using a grappling hook he’d just have a boost which could be a cool down ability or use a fuel gauge, similar to pharah’s jet-pack, where it would let him increase his speed to where he could deal some damage as well as a passive the would allow him to roll through enemies when at high speeds (like a wrecking ball).
Something else i thought of was with his shield where instead of giving him shields it would spread shields to nearby allies, like 50 shields for 6 seconds.

These were my ideas i’m not sure if they would actually make sense in game but i thought i would share them at least.

Yes, Hammond doesn’t suit the rest of the tanks or even the game (in my opinion).

He seems to be the end of the Orisa parking in choke points and quite literally add and keep the momentum rather than everybody just more or less waiting for an ultimate to get going again.

It suits the tank role, its a fun hero, hard to master, low damage but great mobility and great health.

Hammond is a disruptor, like winston or dva.

It suits to the game to, i been waiting for another “animal” hero since the beta, i loved Winston and the idea of having more “animals” heroes. I would love to see a Jetpack cat in the future.

Also, it makes sense to him to be in the game. They did a good job with the hero, i hope they wont nerf his mobility. He is my favorite hero so far, i was a Reinhardt main but now im a Hammond main, its so fun.

I’m not necessarily saying to nerf his mobility just to change the way he gets that mobility i think the fuel idea works better for his mobility, imagine boosting off one of the rocks in Hanamura first point to get behind their team and wreak havoc he still fills that same niche just in a different way. Also the difference between Hammond and the rest of the disruptors is that they can still help the wrest of the team block damage with their bubble and DM respectively.

I like him, but the whole grappling hook wrecking ball thing just looks weird. I mean… he can literally just swing around the point on control maps and destroy everyone.
