Hammond patch lag spikes?

The day the Hammond patch hit, I also did some updates with my computer.

The problem is that now I get spikes that take me from 90-100 fps to 18-25fps and I don’t know if its the updates or the patch, i get pretty invested during matches even with it just being QP so I haven’t really checked the ingame stats aside from just seeing the FPS drop.

Current ingame settings tend to be:
3440x1440 (75 hz)
Max settings
i9-8950HK
GTX 1080
32GB DDR4-2666MHz

Is anyone else getting the same issues?

try running the scan and repair feature from the blizzard launcher, might be a corrupt patch file… worked for me

Thanks, will do this now!

lag spikes in game looks like rubber-banding, ping spikes to 120-130 from 60

Is anybody still experiencing this? My issue still isn;t resolved.

Details of issue: Large lag spikes going from 90-110 fps as low as 25.
Date/time it started: IIRC literally the day of the Hammond patch.
City/Country: Barcelona, Spain.
Internet Provider: Vodafone.
Not sure if WinMTR is correct, looks a lot different than other people’s I had to add asterisks to some hosts because the forums said it doesn’t allow links.

Both the WinMTR and the pathping are showing packet loss in the second hop. I would recommend contacting your internet provider so they can make sure everything is fine.
