Title says it all. With every thing that this character does, ability to place a oneshot is just too much. Fun of placing the ehadshot doesn’t compare to receiving one.

You mean Spamzo? Yeah, I’m also fed up with him just firing in the general direction of the enemy and randomly gets one-shot kills.
I never play Hanzo and I still managed to dominate on Mystery Heroes. He’s just too easy to play in general.
that’s the only thing he does though, he is a sniper, if he didn’t one shot he would be utterly useless.
What if widowmaker couldn’t oneshot…
i know it’s annoying, but that’s their only job, they are snipers…
Compared to widow he also has consistent high damage (due to lower requirements to positioning and his E, which is 420 dmg in ~1,5 sec not counting headshots) and (arguably; boild down to specific comps/maps) better mobility.
the problem is the things you just mentioned, not the oneshot capability. I actually prefered the scatter arrow, at least then he wasn’t strong in close ups, now he can even win reaper sometimes in 1v1 closeup. The point is that he is a sniper and he should oneshot, while being weak and vulnerable at close ups.
While he has better mobility than widowmaker and can jump while shooting (thus being less vulnerable since he doesn’t even have to scope). However widowmaker’s hits are way more precise than hanzo’s, they deal more headshot damage and most importantly they are hitscan, which means counter to pharah and mercy, while hanzo can’t.
Also widowmaker can take better position way easier.
So I think they should just rework his E again…
Seeing as goats and all its variants is still very much Meta, i think it is of way higher importance to get those issues fixed. Then we can talk about hanzo´s potential vs other DPS. Right now he is just as useless vs goats as many other comps and he is way weaker to dive, than Widow is, being his mobility doesn´t go that far.
Maybe, but goats are a problem in rly high ladder. Most of us will rarely play goats setup or against one. But we get destroyed by that overtuned jap thing every second game
I think that being a sniper grants this mechanic, however hanzo uses a projectile that greatly benefits of the projectile traits : Bigger hitbox, snapshot of the target to use in case favor of the shooter is applied.
He should oneshot for sure but he should have damage fall off. Its ridiculous that an arrow from 20mt away does the same damage than an arrow 120mt away.
You will rarely see goats, cause people dislike it. It is viable everywhere and people abuse everywhere. Even bronze players is able to utilize the rather braindead playstyle of GOATS. Unlike Hanzo, he cannot dictate always winning and has counters, dive and goats being one of those. he ispopular cause he is a DPS and is one of the ones with less weaknesses and high skill / high reward.
And one character vs a whole meta of characters/playstyle is not even in the same league. I mean his winrate and pickrate most places in the game is not even close to being the highest at all. So how ever easy he is (you guys think) and how often you see him picked. The reality is, he is not picked more than many other DPS and not winning a lot more than other heroes.
Brig for instance is still sitting at 55%+ winrate
How to make Hanzo fair to play against?!
u can do 2 things,
1, remove Storm Arrows he dont need it since he has no Reload time on hes normal arrows,
2, or give him a RELOAD TIME ON HES NORMAL ARROWS like all the other heros in the game,
In this way he must save and think more about his use of Storm Arrows in case he gets dived on.

This is the whole idea behind him, he has no reload time, cause he has a draw time on every arrow he shoots, that is projectile. This is just a terrible idea. The game currently shows no signs of Hanzo being OP, no matter how much people want to say so, he isn´t picked 24/7 of the time and has a insane winrate. I mean Rein is still the most picked hero in the game, so we need to nerf him right ?
I dont know but i doubt that we have any maps where hanzo can relatively snipe from more than 20 meters.
Most maps feel like they were designed to push all sniper/long range units into close/medium range fights.
I think what needs to be done is to drastically decrease the size of the arrow (because it feels like im shooting out melons nad not arrows) while also adding in staggers to all bodyshots (lets be honest if you get hit by an arrow you wont charge forward like its nothing.) This would grant a much fair experience overall.
For storm arrows i think its fine thought i wish he would have something to compensate for the up and close encounter weakness he has because these arrows dont help anything against faster smaller heroes.
It is still an arrow, the fall off damage is non existant. Beyond 30mt it should do 30% less damage and scale down from there.
This is a myth, hanzo has the lowest projectile size but the projectiles do still have a bigger hitbox to hit on the characters and the “snapshot” of the target that is sent by the attacker to the server when the projectile is shoot. If this snapshot differs from the actual enemy, the server favours the shooter and gives the hit.
Its REALLY unfair but yeah, you get shotted in the head with a shoulder arrow because the server (and a bit of lag) says so.
I dont exactly know the reason, all i know is that there has to be a way to make the BS headshots away.
Infact since we are here what do you think about making his arrow “hitscan”? The hitbox would be decreased drastically and the system would handle it as if it was a moving point across the map, if anybodies head is hit for more than 0.1 seconds its a headshot.
1.draw time is non existent
0.7s charging time kills 250hp heros so at 0.5 he can kill all 200hp heros
2.hes projectile moves at 26m/s and in a game with rule that is,
shot first get the kill server, then its almost as fast as hitscan heros
ofc if he snips u from from the other side of the map, travel time will take longer
But again this is a game about taking the point
which means that you are 2/3 feet from your enemy so it’s just as fast as hitcan
3. u are looking at it wrong, as the top moste used heros is for goats where DPS does not exist,so look at it this way he is nr 4 most used DPS hero out off 17 DPS heros when DPS are in use.
So a clear hero, who is OP, yet shows no sign of being OP as you show, 4 heroes are picked more than him. So thread closed. Lol…
He’s a sniper… Barriers exist, please use them.
The fact that he seems to have his ult every 3 seconds means something is broken.
Honestly you can shove your barriers somewhere coz u are getting annoying with that line. With all the damage flying around and everything that counters rein nowadays you just cant hold your shield constantly since as i said with all this damage nowadays i feel my rectangle is build from a construction paper. Also if i would just hold my shield and never swing i would be a sh*t tank.
Eddit: Also that overtuned jap thing can just walk straight to you, use his op stormarow on you and bam: no shield, since Wiener schnitzel is down
