I’d like to know what the community thinks about Season 12s new patch notes and how it effects Hanzo specifically. I personally think the patch has nerfed Hanzo dramatically . I understand that he now has “1 hit potential” but this is only against a select few of heroes . Meaning , in most situations he’s just set up to fail. The health drop was supposed to be directed towards high mobility characters. Hanzo to me doesn’t quite fit that category. To me, it seems like his patch was a decision made based on everything going on around him . And honestly , if something ain’t broke don’t fix it .
The meta already consisted of primarily hit scan… and now it’ll lean more in that direction. It’s a shame that the devs are ok with seeing the same 4 heroes in rotation when they have such a beautiful cast of potential .

Hanzo is one of my favorites heroes, but I can’t decide yet if he got buffed or nerfed. It’s been a while I been wondering for him to be able to one shot some flanking heroes like Sombra. He’s able now but the HP reduction is also a good slap in the face.
Already played a couple of games with him, I could already enjoy some one shots but I felt more vulnerable specially against hitscans like Ashe or Soldier.
I would say they took the wrong brother to nerf the HP… Genji who is a high mobile hero remains intact.
The nerf wouldn’t be so major if other high mobility dps were also effected by this . Nearly every hero with the exception of bastion and torb are faster and or have more escape options than hanzo . I’m a hanzo main so I may be a bit biased but I don’t think I’m tripping.
Only change id make to hanzo right now is to reduce he projectile hitbox size, just so better aim is rewarded.
After that, I think he’s ok.
Personally I think that would make more sense than reduce his HP.
Reducing HP of other heroes made more easy him get kills, reducing his projectile hitbox would make more harder get kills, that makes more sense.

I think the HP reduction is fine. Probably a few others that needed it too, but maybe they want to drip feed it and see where the game lies first.
But the arrow hit box is a little ridiculous and needs changing.

The whole thing about reducing others’ hp is such nonsense…he was most definitely nerfed…again. He isn’t even a mobility character! why was Sojourn left untouched then? Junkrat? any of those characters have more mobility than Hanzo. They tried to cover it up as a “buff” lol.
