I am very disappointed in the ranking system in OW2 and on the verge of uninstalling the game and never touching it again.
in support role, last season I was in silver and dropped to bronze 1 which is fine.
Rank decay drops me to Bronze 3 in current season… which is fine.
I have a record of 32 wins and 21 losses in current season. My stats are better than my friends on my support heros. I see no reason for my deranking.
MMR dropped me to bronze 5. And 6 rank updates later, I AM STILL in BRONZE 5.
This makes absolutely no sense. I spoke to GM’s about this, twitch streamers, discord communities and no one can figure out what is going in my account. Why is OW keeping me hard locked in bronze 5. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

If you aren’t climbing out of bronze 5 then you need to make significant improvements.
32-21 isn’t a win loss record of someone who 100% shouldn’t be in that division/rank.
A 32-5 would be a ratio that clearly doesn’t belong in bronze 5. If you are supposed to be be in silver (especially high silver) you should basically be able to carry every game in b5 with very little difficulty.
Your ratio basically means that you lose 2 matches for every 3 wins. Lose 1 every 6th and you’ll be out of bronze 5 in 3 or 4 sets.
I won an all 7 set twice in second season and was in silver 4, kept winning 3 more sets and was in gold 3. (After which, losses started happening. Stopped climbing after reaching low plat)
MMR is still not right, I doubt they’ll be able to fix it. Keep trying, you can do it.

If you aren’t climbing with that, your MMR is exceptionally low and/or you’re having very little impact in matches.
In those sets, you’ve won 14 games if we subtract the losses from the combined victories that’s under 400 sr. If you started from the middle of bronze 5 (which is around 500 sr) you’d be at 850 sr right now.
Bronze 5 (at least used to) extends to 1000 sr. Could be more with the new system.
And this sr count is only if your mmr is relatively neutral. If you had a high mmr you would get more than 25 sr per match won. If your mmr is low, you’ll lose more than 25 sr per loss.
Edit: the numbers might be rather off as we can’t see the actual amounts and the whole system isn’t very transparent at the time.

Bronze 5 Tank - Hitting a 5/3 win ratio. Not ranked up in the last 6 times.
Open Bronze - Going up a rank every time I hit 5.
MMR is broken harder than PvE. Before you count smurfs and the rest.
