I was playing the game from the beginning and have placed at GM from 3d season on my main account, also, as many people here I have some smurfs accounts.

In the Last season I was playing on smurf from the lower rank like silver to high masters and was facing a lot of ruiners like throwers/trolls/leavers and so on all the way like in my team and the enemy team. So, it wasn’t the only problem at high ranks, it’s even more in low and mid ranks where the most people play.

So, you’re, Blizzard, always talking like you’re thinking and worry about your gamers. Nope, you’re thinking about the money, your career and your reputation. Of course, nobody was surprised, so just stop lying.

Useless "updates"

People always complain about other people in the game who ruins their games, so how you tried to resolve the issue: you launched the endorsements and a Looking for Group (LFG) system. Did it help? Nope. I tried that LFG and got the same trolls and ruiners like in any other game without that useless system and than never have used it at all.
Endorsements - about nothing, because lots of people with like levels 4-5 are made them playing quicks and arkades and not really often good teammates in matchmaking games and even toxic (OMG!). Everyone knows it. I met a lot of lvl 1 endors who carried all team, tho. So that systems don’t work at all, but one works just a little bit it is the “Avoiding system”.
This system could be really helpful if gammer can put in his avoiding list at least 30 people. Why 3?! You think the gamer will enjoy playing with another ruiners? You are afraid that gamers put too much people in their lists and can’t queue the match? I think better to not join the game with the trolls at all than to play with another trolls.

What really works

What have you really did and it’s working well?
Yes, you did the only one thing which is working well for you only- it’s suspends and bans for the toxic players! Yohoo! Good job! It’s Win!

Yes, because it saves your reputation, to avoid Overwatch from the most toxic game communities and so on, bravo! Does it effect on the real game and quality of playing ranked games? Of course - NO! Nobody cares about the toxic people, you can just mute and block them! And it works very well! Can you do the same with ruiner? I guess - no. Because it is too hard to do. You need a pioneer to invent that system which can help fight against the ruiners!

So?
Why are people going mad and start being toxic in this game? Right - after loosing games sponsored by ruiners, trolls and leavers!
You do not treat the disease, you treat the symptoms.

What we have?

In reality my friends and other people tried the system and did tons of trolling/throwing, but of course most of these acts were made not so obvious. They never been banned or even suspended. I know 2 guys who downgrade the accounts from the diamond/master to bronze (for the money) and never been banned for this as well! Why?! One guy just told me - I said like I was on tilt and got the lose streak - ta-da! You can’t ban me, because I’m just play so bad, though.

But if they start insulting or using foul language they get suspended or even banned (after the several suspends, I think) instantly. Wow, that’s impressive! Good job, again! You’re fighting well against the toxicism! So helpful! (Nope)

Stop lying about you’re thinking about your community. Start doing something with a real issues in the game like ruiners! Game is actually can die at any time, just take a look around.

No matter how many times blizzard update their games players will always smurf, troll and even hackers.
i have encounter them more now then in the past with blizzard games.
So in my point of view blizzard games are hot spots for players who like to play negatively and unfairly.
Plus bans and suspensions won’t do much to stop negative players as they will make second accounts in order to play the games again and again.
I can see were your going with all the negative things that happen in the game but blizzard won’t fix any of those things i’m afraid, i mean i have told blizzard similar things and yet they still have not fix the game properly.

You know there is something wrong with the game when a smurfer (“ruiner”) complains about other “ruiners” and about Blizz being greedy even after he/she can thank the greedyness of Blizz that he/she could even have a smurf account in the 1st place.

It’s like the seeing a guy who is wall hacking in CS:GO and complaining about an other person who killed him with help of an aimbot. :smiley:

My theory is that the older the game becomes the worse it gets. Kind of like cheese. People stop caring, the more decent guys simply leave. My best bet is to leave too, which I did. I play once each month and no amount of skins will make me increase it.

You’re wrong. Smurfing is legal, btw. And it isn’t meaning the ruiner as well. Smurf like any other gamer can be positive or negative, tho. Playing on smurfs I’m facing smurfs in opposite team almost in every game.
The matchmaking system knows well when someone who’s playing has higher skill in the tier gets another someone in an opposite team to balance as well. I also meet a lot of boosters especially on Plat rank.

The boosters are definitely different from the smurfs. Boosters always play to win and most of them from GM+ and top500 which you can not say the same about the smurfs. It’s kinda a good challenge to resist them. They very often go duo.
Before the “Private Account” update it was pretty easy to identify when the booster on the acc, but not now. You can only based on his gameplay style.

Smurfing is legal because it brings a looot of money for Blizz. Sure it is “legal”.

Issue with smurfing is that experienced player get matched with players who are new or unexperienced and are ruining their fun.

It’s like putting an NBA player into a team at an elementary school team.

How can they not leave???
This game only cares about casual players… Its made to shield then in every way shape or form. So its best to just be one.
Who has time to practice aiming and mechanics when you can just pick drooling hero X and do 10 times better. What dedicated player will look at the current state of high rank and be like “Heck yeah I wanna play that skill-less hero for easy and mindless wins” Just look at Rein and Mercy, heroes with that design SHOULD NOT HAVE A PLACE IN A COMPETITIVE GAME let alone a game with shooter aspects. Like lets be real you have one hero who takes a ton of practice and mechanics to polish or a hero that’s so weak and hated even when your playing right you’d lose and then you have heroes who can just be picked day one on high rank without no one betting an eye (aka Brigitte) and be the MVP of the team without doing anything challenging or even having the option to misplay…
And you have to love whats left of the community atm… only the ppl who are fine abusing droolers. Like for exmp: Hammoned day 1, no one know how to played that hero, ppl think he sucked etc and little by little they learned because they didn’t know how to play em.
Now look at day 1 brig… instantly everyone was a gm player with the excuse that “no one know how to counter her”… but where was that excuse when Balanced heroes like Hammoned or Doomfist show’d at day 1? That wore a total joke with easy counters… like Zarya/Sombra… that can fully counter you just by looking at you.
And that’s just hero balancing without even looking at the other aspects like community (trolls, trowers, smurfs and hackers with a hint of ok to good players) or other stuff like the easy to abuse report system or the really awful and easy to abuse matchmaking system or the fact that they keep on hinting gamemode’s with quality of life changes like role que and etc to just be ignored or deley’d for more then 3 years and this can go on and on and on.
Who in there right mind will like this and be dedicated?
This game is left to die in the hands of casuals like every Blizzard game after Activision, a good example is WoW BFA… OW is going that way really fast. Soon this game will be only for millennials because honestly looking at some of the heroes its clear that they are targeting 10 yo’s to 16 yo’s or people with that mentality. It just matters more for them to cash in on casual players that are by far the majority in every game then to have a balanced game for the top players. Because who wants to feel like they are progressively improving on the game when you can just Buy an account lock in a drooler and actually hit gm in less then a week.
But i guess that’s exactly what blizzard want. Cycling players like never before.
Its funny, this game is so casual that even the casual players hate casual player because all they do is make everyones exp worse. I can safly say that if they don’t at lest do a good balanced patch soon i’l be out as well i just can’t stand casual players and it seems OW is about 95% of them atm…
