Hide Ranks/Level/Profile

Hello
A lot of people talk a lot about smurfs, one tricks and so on…

How about, make details such as rank, level, profile invisible until after the match… this would reduce the toxicity tenfold. I’m fed up with this garbage community getting tilted over every damn thing:
-omg widow main tilt
-lol lvl 900 plat stuck tilt
-enemy team has smurf tilt
-why we have to have silver on our team tilt

Most of people in this community are the definition of snowflakes,… every damn thing on their mind makes them irritated, throw games and act like whiny kids. Taking away these elements would give them at least few less reasons to cry about.

What does it matter if enemy team has higher average SR or what SR people on enemy team has? You know what it means, damn nothing! It’s unnecessary information that in first place, you shouldn’t have… and secondly, is unfair to your team if enemies have locked profiles and your team has them open.

I wish I could hide my hero pick at the start of a game so others don’t immediately see that I insta picked dps and do the same.
Jk tbh I experienced less toxicity but I also played less so I can’t tell for sure.
I moved over to qp where you play what you want and if you get steamrolled who cares? Next game.

I’d called that the casual gamers mentality. One where you don’t care if you lose its just a game. So on to the next match to keep the enjoyment of playing going for you. However others generally more skilled and/or competitive personality players, want to win and grow their skill levels/stats. That is what they find entertaining. SR is “suppose” to be the number the game uses to rate what someones skill is. Problem is game company’s aim to profits. Pushing them to have broad criteria being judged(like K/D instead of accuracy or time takes to react and accuracy) plus have larger brackets so you can bring wide skill range of friends to play with. Which pleases casual gamers over competitive gamers.(bird of a feather, flock together) Even though the Competitive Gaming scene is growing there are still more casual gamers in the world then “try hards”. Gaming companies who tried to have stricter matchmaking for closer skill proximity matches, lost money and ended up with a large part of their Community complaining about Queue times taking too long to get into a match. Even though it will be a more fair experience for all. Casual gamers don’t have time to wait and would rather just get in and lose and had a chance to play. Versus taken 1 hour to get into a game and still get steamrolled “cuz they’re learning”(practice makes perfect). Truth is games are made for Game hobbyists(as low as casual gamers) not specific to skilled players. Please game industry fix matchmaking. The casual gamers arent loyal to truly playing product. Please the people who do truly invest in your game with time not just money. Trust me they’ll live and find a new hobby they are better at. Don’t reward the people who pay to play but only play for “their” enjoyment on team games… we all enjoy winning fair matches.
