Don’t know if its just me but I’ve been getting a lot of high ping lately, one second it would be around 60 ping then it would go completely insane to over 900 ping.
I don’t know if its my computer or not as its a brand new one, or something is going on in Overwatch that is making it go crazy.
Same thing is happening to me. I thought it was my router, rebooted it - Same issue. However, I did ask in chat whether it’s happened to anyone else in the game, but they didn’t have an issue with Lag. Gremlins.
Same, every time I ask someone they say they have no issues at all.
Weird if you ask me…
I’ve just had a game in QPC and kept an eye on the latency. It was jumping from 50ms to 185ms - it was very nearly unplayable. Other players noticed I was “shaking”. Is there a way to track the latency server connection and report the log to Blizzard? If It’s a my end I can get onto my ISP (Virgin Media)…
((Update)) I followed the guidance here to flush my DNS and it sort of helped. I still had a few moments where I was strafing due to high latency, but it wasn’t as frequent as before.
I get lagged as well here, my ping just randomly jumps from 60 to stable 200-300 
This is getting ridiculous now. The latency is jumping all over the place.
Seems worse on the Busan map tbh…
I’m at a loss now. I have been onto my ISP, but they’re just going round in circles.
I´m so tired of these slow servers !!!
My internet, ping: 18ms, 50 mbps for download and upload.
And game is lagging everyday, this has to be fixed.

I realize it’s popular to jump straight to the “bad servers” conclusion, although the reality is that issues can exist at many different points that would affect this.
A good start would be the information and troubleshooting steps from this article: Overwatch - Latency Problems.
Past that you can find a lot more detail in this sticky post.
If you still believe it to be a more widespread issue, please do include the diagnostics described there, as well as some more info about your connection, including your country/city, ISP and a time frame for the problem.
When you play other games there are no lags, and you have low latency as 20ms, so if you try to play overwatch ping goes high 80-100ms… why then ? ofc its server fault or server connection so many ppl reporting this, discord channels are also same reports.

Something happened some weeks ago with the routing. I used to get 50 ping for years in Overwatch. Then suddenly, I’m getting 70-80 ms all the time, even at 3 am. And it’s been like that for weeks. WoW Classic wasn’t affected (34 ms). Basically, I have the same problem as SwoopyD above me.
When I did a tracert to eu.battle.net, it seems the traffic is going to Petersburg, then Moscow, then to London, then to Switzerland. It shouldn’t be going to Moscow and London!
Same issues on xbox. Its turning unplayable
Same in Turkey so it s general problem but blizz answer with same post all the time instead of solving it.
It seems the problem got fixed 5 minutes ago for me, and I didn’t do anything. I was playing OW. It was showing 70 ms. Then suddenly I see < 50 ms just how it used to be. I checked the ping in WoW Classic. I got a drop from 50 ms to around 35 ms there, too.
Weird thing was after maintenence they did few days ago, the good ping was back, and it was on AMS1 server i had 40-50ms. Next they it went back to 80-90ms again… no issues on other games
Yes, I jinxed it. We’re back at 70 ms in OW, 50 ms in WoW up from 50, 30 respectively…
How come i get 60-90 ping and generally pretty stable connection while being half my house away from my router on internet on most games. When i play overwatch it is at 140 like wtf, ans not to mention every 10 seconds i am at 1000 ping and back. My max ping was 2800. Overwatches servers are terrible. Just because everyone doesnt have ethernet doesnt mean we should have high ping. Plz fix your servers
Same issue here. Started noticing it since Thursday 09 of June.
For 3 years I’ve been playing OW i would always keep around 42 ms. And now it randomly started spazzing out, jumping to 900 ping at some times and even disconnecting me from the game. I’m playing from Lithuania and have a decent connection of 100 mbps average.

i’m logging from lithuania, the given fixes unfortunately didn’t change back my ping from 70-90~100ms to 35-45’s i used to have. quite a while ago.
although i have no problems with pings in battlefield V/1/nhs feat nor forza it’s just overwatch and probably slightly less problems with COD MW 2K19…
running 100/20mbps plan from telia. 50mbps-65mbps stable pulls out in dl speed and 15-20mbps from upload speed.
no hybrid internet(using standart router not the one that uses wireless connection and 4G to back up ethernet). hardly possible to face issue since am on full copper adsl.
didn’t try other games except diablo III since am not really playing them.
