Anyone else in the UK having really high latency, dispite having no issues in other games at all
Also in the UK, can confirm i’m getting ping of 190 ms, it’s literally lower playing on the “Americas” servers right now

If this is still happening it might help if you could get a WinMTR and post it on a site such as pastebin and then post the link here so we can try to help diagnose this for you - it will also help to see if this is all happening from the same location.

I’m near Manchester UK and i get a ping of 40-50 but i always get the yellow hollow circle with the lightning bolt through it and spots of yellow packet loss. I have been getting this for well over a year and been in contract twice with the support team and once they were able to fix it for a week or so then it went back to being terrible.
When i play mcree for example i will fire my revolver then it will lag and fire again but its not firing another round its repeating the last fire action. Super weird.
This game ran perfectly when it was released network wise, i just think the West EU servers have lost a lot of support.
Its a bit like with when Battlefield 1 came out it had tons of UK servers then after a year or so they all just droped off the radar and left only the French and German servers.
I would not be surprised if on Overwatch i’m getting connected to French servers rather than Manchester or London servers.
Pretty sad really as the game runs perfectly, networks trash thou.
It seemed to sort itself out after around an hour if I recall correctly. I haven’t had any issues since and have been playing each day since.

All fine untill hop 8 ( 137.221.79.33 ) and a whois shows this is in france + owned by blizzard.
edit: missed the 80 ms to hop 7, that is the london exchange so could be a problem on the way out of the uk.

Yeah same issue, nothing’s changed setup wise but gone from usually 50-60ms to 200ish

I’m also having this issue in the UK. I normally get around 50 ms but today it’s at 200 which is incredibly weird as it was completely fine yesterday. It also seems specific to Overwatch as other games are playing fine.
Interestingly when i connect to NA servers I get a better latency of around 170ms, which just shows something weird is happening.
Also weird, I had this issue 2 weeks ago on Saturday as well, not sure if there is any relevance to it being a weekend, but If there is any response to how to fix this, would appreciate.
Did you do anything specifically?
From the UK and this has just started happening to me. 190ms on EU servers and around 130ms on NA servers. Does anyone have a fix?

Normally averaging around 30 ping, but tonight it’s sat at 190 constantly. I get a better ping on US servers. Restarted my router, contacted internet provider, everything seems fine this end.

Aye, given that all my mates are having the same issue and I’m seeing this being reported on their twitter and here it’s probably an issue on their end. Hope it’s resolved soon. Playing on 150-200 ping is annoying
