Anyone else here play with high ping ~130ms? I’m finding things like dropping Suzu is hard to time. And in general the game feels weird/hard to do survive those close battles.
Rein is fine but the charges are tricky at close range.
You can play anyone with a bit of practice. But, keeping it simple, anyone who’s projectiles or requires tracking over pure aim. So Moira Mercy.
Lucio is pretty decent on higher ping.
On high ping, projectiles seem to be favoured. So heroes like echo and pharah have an advantage when played on high ping.
Ah but how do you play echo decently? She seems ineffective against most heroes
Echos probably one of the better DPS right now.
Even just playing safe as a bit of a spam bot she’s decent.

This reply is only true at lower ranks imo. In lower ranks projectile heroes may be unaffected by ping simply because you’re rewarded less for being in control such as spamming a choke with junkrat. At any rank higher than diamond hitscans are definitely way easier on high ping. The way overwatch’s hitscans work favour the shooter so if you hit the target on your screen even on high ping it will register as a hit. High mobility heroes and projectile heroes like echo or Lucio would actually be the hardest on high ping because you need to have a good connection to utilise their mobility and projectiles are harder to hit on ping.
