hey has anybody else been experiencing weird spikes in ping lately? it started over the past few days i play EU servers(one of the ams is what im connected to usually iirc) and my regular ping hoovers around 68ms
now in a few ranked games over the course of the last idk 2-3 days i’ve been having moements when it suddenly spikes up to 500+ and makes the game unplayable for a few short momenst - it’s not a huge issue and doesnt happen often bc i ve been playing with a stack and able to comm the problem to them
but it makes me worried sth is up?
i checked my connection multiple times and it seems fine, my pc is new(bought it last month) and had no problems so far with overwatch
does anybody know what i should look into to find a solution?
I am also having this issue. My ping is shooting up from around 40-50ms to over 100ms and its causing my character to move around the map unintentionally. I’ve tried the game on 2 different computers with 2 different accounts and its the same. Been like this for the last 2-3 days as you have said and I’ve tried all the troubleshooting on the website but no luck. Also playing on EU servers and its like this even in the practice range. I tried to submit a ticket but I cant even do that. The page just reloads so this is my only bet to get some help on the issue.

Lately? It has been an ongoing issue for a loooong time with the AMS1 servers. Never have any problems on CDG1. Too bad we can’t pick what server we end up on, because AMS1 is downright unplayable many times.

I’ve been getting the same issue. It will happen once every 5-10 minutes. It’s worse than the usual packet drop since it seems to last a full 1-2 seconds of everybody rubberbanding.
My connection before was completely stable.

never experienced it before that’s why i specified the last couple of days
I had the network graph open (CTRL+SHIFT+N) when one of the spikes occurred and it showed the RTT line spiking really high for 2 seconds.

yeah had it happen again to me and a buddy from the netherlands last night it’s super weird
