Hollywood won't load and I get kicked for inactivity

Hello there, first time poster on the Blizzard forums so I’d ask that you please forgive me if I’m in the wrong sub-forum or if I don’t submit all of the correct details.

So basically I’ve been running into this really weird problem where my Overwatch won’t load into Hollywood. Basically it’ll show the map name prior to loading in but it will just put me on an infinite buffer before I get kicked for inactivity.

I posted this on the r/overwatch subreddit to see if anyone else was having this issue as I’m a console gamer on the Xbox One. Apparently some people, although not many, are running into a similar problem with different maps although one person had mentioned it could be due to an influx on the serves due to the free weekend. I’m just wondering if this a known glitch or if there’s anything I can do to fix this?

Hello SOLIDSNAKEee,

When you get kicked out of inactivity while loading a map, it’s usually because the game doesn’t load fast enough. This can be caused by a performance issue, or a connection issue.
