Honestly, DPS players should get more endorsement levels per endorsement

I recently started to play DPS again (Once a gengu main, always a gengu main).

I very quickly found out that DPS players don’t get as much endorsements as tanks and supports (though I pretty much knew it already). The only way I get a single endorsement playing DPS is if I actually popped off and got POTG. Playing as tank, I’m pretty much guaranteed to get at least 3 endorsements even if we lose.

I know that endorsement levels don’t mean anything, but I still think that DPS players should get more points for every endorsement they receive.

Forums are filled with support mains who will say their dps is godlike, and that the dps always feeds.
Don’t come to the forums for clever discussion, ever.

It’s more difficult to spot dps doing things endorsement-worth compared to tanks and healers even when they would be the MVPs. And I say that as a Hanzo main.

Tanks and healers affect their team more visibly and are easier to commend/denigrate for this reason.

One of those support mains here, but I don’t think you are feeding.
For me it is simply the fact that I am not sure what kind of endorsment would fit them. Fairness is seen as troll, teamplay is the peel I mostly get from supprt and tanks, but will also fit if a dps protects me well from flankers. Shot caller is somethin like “team leader” in german fitting for tanks creating space or players using VC.
Tell me what you want to be endorsed for out of those 3.
Second thing is I don’t see their impact that much and will only endorse them if I noticed they did a clutch play or did well compared to the second dps.
(And I have a personal rule to never endorse people playing Bastion.)

Ofc players endorse supports and tanks, as those are roles not everyone wanna play, you gotta suck it up.

Mates, check my profile. 9/10ths of my play time is on tank. Sh*ts unfair against DPS players

no its not unfair. DPS isn’t valued by players as much, thats it. You might call it unfair, to me its perfectly fair.
