How do i get a refund?

You played over 100 hours before this change. You must’ve enjoyed it then, yes? How have you wasted your money?

How long would it take before you would consider your money not wasted?

yeah, especially if you consider OW was 40€ on release day and dipped down to 20 or even 10 in recent months.

Yes I enjoyed it before the change and one of those reasons was because you could pick any hero any time but with the new role pick it’s ruined the game for me.

I have wasted my money because I’ve bought a game I won’t be playing anymore because of someone else’s dumb decision to implement a stupid role pick into a game which didn’t need it and was initially released without.

I would consider not playing a game anymore by my own account not wasting money rather than this.

money is still not wasted, you had 180 hours of fun for your measly 40€.

i guess he wantd the fun to never end?.

OK.
I would say that you’re expectations from a ~40$ purchase is a bit high when it comes to longevity, but you have yours and I have mine.

But it really isn’t false advertisement.
You can still swap heroes to an extent and there are gamemodes that allow you to switch freely.
The genre also hasn’t changed. It’s a team-based FPS with characters and abilities.

You have bought the right to play their game. A right which they can take away should you break ToS.

Anyway, requesting a refund here won’t get you anywhere and I’d be incredibly surprised if you got one.
Try contacting support instead, unless of course you knew it was a silly request and this was more about expressing your hatred towards Role Queue. =)

Ok , once in china a Costco supermarket was made. It was a massive hit. the annual subscription that they had was massively popular. Following the success they had rised the prices of their products which made many of the people who had bought the subscription unhappy. Because of their lenient refund policies almost everyone had went for a refund. they brought packaging and half eaten chickens back for refunds. Here is the story of how a costco went bankrupt in 2 weeks. now lets see how this story relates to our refund situation. Yeah being too kind with the refund policies will eventually hurt them.

sure, I get it, its a balancing act… but currently in the games industry there is “NO refund” policy, bar the 2 hours from steam…

so we need some kind of refund policy, at least
