Hi its really frustrating to me how ranked handles leavers ich get penalized if i leave after them i lose MMR when i stay or go. And to make it better most people are so toxic that they dont even wanna chill in the game they kill you even if youre alone. So why doesnt the game do anything against that they should now this problem exits. Is there anything i can do to not get leavers because i dont have many friend and we cant form a full team.
You don’t get a leaver penalty if you aren’t the first one to leave.
There’s a timer at the top of the screen after which you will be allowed to leave without getting a suspension.
The match will be a loss for you, but if you’re all alone there’s really no chance to win either so you’ll only save time if you just leave at that point.
If you’re repeatedly the first in the match to leave, you will get suspensions. Suspensions start with 15 minutes but if you keep being the first to leave or leave before the timer is up, you can get suspended from competitive play for a whole season.
Mmr is very fluid and keep changing regardless of what mode you play. Rank is separate from mmr and is only affected by competitive play.
I’m sorry you’re having bad experiences in comp. I’ve been against a few people who had their entire team leave, it feels horrible, especially when my team kept killing them regardless. I hope you have better luck in the future.

I’m also a solo player. My games are riddled with leavers all too often, some days I can get them multiple times. I am unsure how Blizzard still haven’t provided fixes to leavers occuring.
When I play Dota/CS, I very rarely get a leaver and when I do, the match is paused and the player returns. Blizzard are very very slow at learning from mistakes, and even slower at coming up with improvements. It could be that the developers/managers are incompetent. Hopefully, with enough time and direction, they will start to bring about change.
