It’s been ONE MONTH since I played Overwatch. Every single time I try to launch the game my screen goes black for a couple of seconds and then crashes. No error message, nothing. I deleted Razer Synapse, I deleted VC++, made a selective startup, changed my resolution… Literally anything I could find. I’m getting out of ideas guys. Any help would be appreciated, I really don’t want to miss the event
Just tried that, when I try to open the game my screen goes black and then my game crashes with no error message
Thank you for going through those steps GreenNecro, sorry to hear that did not help out.
Please post your System Files so we can have a closer look into this. Please go through the steps listed here, and create both the MSInfo and DxDiag files. Post them on a page like Pastebin.com or share directly with us through OneDrive. Post the links here afterwards, so we can have a look.
Have a few seconds to spare? Let me know how I’m doing!
Sure

Hello GreenNecro,
I can see you have Razer Chroma SDK installed in your computer. Please, make sure you completely uninstall it; we’ve seen many cases where uninstalling this software fixed black-screen crashes for Overwatch.
If that doesn’t work, I’d also try uninstalling the following:
- McAfee
- Intel Extreme Tuning Utility - If you have any kind of overclocking in your system, we always advice returning the hardware to default speeds to test if the issue continues.
- Razer Cortex

Thank you for your help! I deleted McAfee and my game launched. Have a nice day!
I was having the same problem. +1 for purging razor chroma sdk, which fixed it for me. I recently got a chroma keyboard, so installed the chroma sdk. For whatever reason, Overwatch was fine for like a day or two, but then following a nvidia driver update I could no longer run any blizzard game (well, I tried only diablo, OW, OW PTR). Annoyingly I had also done kind of a lot of stuff with my machine over those two days, so it took me a while to unwind far enough to try removing the chroma sdk - but that was totally the fix! Thanks
