I’m a genji main,I find it very hard to play competitive in this current season,there are to many counters to his attacks,etc.,even when I’m doing very good in game my teammates suck(its typically to blame teammates but what can I do),the matchmaking isn’t balanced at all,can someone give any tips on how to play genji better in this current season
Here’s a tip for you … switch 
Honestly at this point you can even play genji as a main tank (create space for your team [winstone]).
Then try and farm blade faster than def ults is also a thing.
Dispite of his pickrate he is not very strong right now so maybe use df instead?
A lot of things are stopping genji atm. Not just support ults. And im sure that a lucio will get his ult faster then a Genji. And the thing is Genji needs nano as well. Just dragon blade is way to easy to stop. And then you have the god lucio/ana players and can stop Nano blade with just amp up speed aura and a well-timed boop or just sleep dart.
On top of that getting blade vs goats (3 tanks 3 supports) is insane. if you dash in brig will stun you, if you don’t your attacking shields all game long. Best thing a Genji can do vs goats it to reflect Zaryas grav…
As said above, if you can’t play one character, switch.
