I have spent ages making a game mode for the Overwatch Workshop. It has taken me weeks and even months of development and I have accidentally saved another game mode over the preset. Is is possible for me to get my mode back because I don’t want to be spending another couple of weeks developing a game mode again
- you have auto save each some minutes after using some mode, so maybe if you still didn’t save or didn’t play… you can return this mode by load autosave modes.(open lobby, open settings, open mods packs(the first one on left), on up when all saved modes start loading one of them will be in orange color “auto save”.
2)if you have game code you can redownload this mode from code (if you share it).
3)make backups of code for example to text file next time…(open lobby settings, on right where menu save/import/share… you have also copy and then past it in text file.)
4)maybe you have someone that saved it?
5)maybe printscreens of your mode? documents/overwatch/…
6)open ticket for blizzard, waiting for response.
