I need to change my OW resolution without entering the game. Help

I’ve had the issue were the base resolution of my monitor is to low for more modern games. (Cough OW cough) My computer can handle the game just fine; so I just need some help figuring out how to change the resolution. Or set OW to windows on start up.

That’s it really, I’ve tried to figure this out, but I didn’t find anything.

If you want to launch Overwatch in Window Mode, here is how you can do it.

  • Go into my documents > Overwatch > Settings > Settings_v0.ini
  • Check the following settings:
    • FullscreenWindow = “0”
    • FullscreenWindowEnabled = “0”
    • WindowMode = “2”
  • Once done save the file and close it
  • Right click the same file and go to properties
  • In the general tab select Read-Only click Apply and OK.
