I specifically want to see how much percentage my support heals each individual with and without them included so i can conclude a better understanding of each heros progress along the way.
I personally think that support players can blame their dps and tank very easily based on their k/d ratio and i just want to see the same based on how my support sees our survivabillity altogether.
This might slightly improve my pick choice based on that decision alone.

Kd isnât a reason to blame anyone. Doesnât mean a win or a loss.
And healing isnât the only way a support can support the team to achieve the objectives. Winning.

I never said it did. I am merely asking for more specific statistics based on what actually defines a support as a whole which includes doing damage and or making a kill but also who or what this support is constantly healing so i can specifically confirm for myself of what is going on and what isnt.
Get it now?

I think it is was built into the replay viewer. It would be a hand tool to help figure out where you could do better. Be help from coaching too.
Live, in game. Unnecessary. You donât need to see numbers to see if youâre winning or losing fights. You should be able to figure that out as youâre playing.
This seems rather tricky and tbh I feel that this would just bring more toxicity in game. Support players are there to support you so they also ââhave the rightââ to deal damage and mitigate in game.
And if such feature was to exist, it would only be fair if we can see which heros dps and tank deal damage to the most. More often than not I hear dps players gloating about their damage, when all they did was pump damage into the opposing tank, which doesnt die because their supports are still alive.
Overall I donât really see any positives to such added feature, it would just fuel people being more negative towards each other and I personally wouldnt benefit from knowing who I healed the most.
Indeed as a fan of numbers Iâd love to see more stats, both damage taken and healing received. It would help significantly in post-game analysis.

Because this too could also be said about support players when they only keep healing a certain individual in the team while the rest of us are constantly dying because of bad positioning.
The percentage of healing would statistically show me who is the most important player for the support to heal and who isnt.
It could also show me how much i can rely on my team when things go south.
As a dps person who cant heal himself, why wouldnt i wanna know this?
Because if youâre playing, and donât realise youâre dying too often, then the issue might be your awareness. Not stats.
Also, if youâre ânot getting enough healingâ. Itâll be obvious, youâll either be dead a lot, or inactive while you regen. You donât need stats mid game to tell you that.

Actually bad positioning can occur from both sides so even if you die occasionally its not always the awareness of the individual that can be questionable.
Yes i do.
It can. But if youâre dying, thatâs your responsibility. If their positioning is what youâd deem bad, then you go an position somewhere âgoodâ but die because the line of sight was bad⌠Your position wasnât that great.
You can only fix what you do. A good position isnât a fixed point. Itâs where you can have an advantage over your opponent, whilst having line of sight to your team if needed.
If youâre focusing on the stats, youâre probably going to miss the reason.
OW is a game of moments. And being able to adapt on the fly to make the most of those moments. Stats are a good tool post match to reflect on what you can improve on. But not much else.
A personal example of 1 game. I ended 9-4, my team all had much higher numbers, 20/30 elims and so on. They all thought I was throwing. What they failed to realise was I, as Ball, was simply the other side of the fight being a nuisance. The reason they got all the kills was because they enemy kept turning to chase me. Leaving them wide open.
Yes, an anecdote, but one to show stats donât mean impact.

Not if my positioning is good. Then it is the responsibility of the support to keep me alive, if that doesnt happen however then the support is actually bad and needs to reiterate on what they are doing.
Not at all. If my support doesnt want to heal me on purpose i can switch to something that is more efficiently based on who or what a moira for example can heal but i want to know if they would even try to heal me if i still havent made the switch so i can conclude with how they are thinking.
That probably doesnt always mean i am going to win the game however but i just want to know how people are generally thinking.
If your support is refusing to heal you because of who youâre playing. Youâll swapping isnât going to change much, theyâre already tilted.
They should also just be reported and swiftly banned.
Yeah wonât be as useful as you think. There is plenty of times I canât or donât heal a tank or dps because they are off on their own and no where near me.
Canât tell you how many games I play with a rein that charges in and gets mei walled off and dies. Or dps that canât figure out we lost our tank and the other support and still tries to engage the enemy team.
Too many players canât figure out positioning and then blame others.

No line of sight = no line of sight
But i still want to see if i can statistically trust my support when i am.
I think it is only just if people are constantly looking at my k/d like a vulture.
But, how will you see that from just a number.
If they are just pumping you full of heals, but the enemy isnât dying, your supports are simply wasting their time⌠But theyâll have a high heal stat.
But that doesnât mean theyâve played well.
The stats give zero context. Rendering them utterly meaningless.
Now, if the Replay viewer had a live stats overlay. So you could see what numbers where being some in specific moments when reviewing games. That would be handy.
I was going to reply to Soloqu but honestly you said everything that I wouldâve and more.
Thanks for all the well said responses

sure, that could also work for me. tbh i wanted something mid game like some sort of dps meter like in wow but oh well.

Yeah we need âHealing Receivedâ as a stat.
Suddenly so many Support plays would start being seen like they should.
Mid game would just be meaningless, and just clutter for the sake of clutter.
The biggest thing will do (not saying youâll do this) it will fuel the blame culture.
You arenât dying because youâre not being healed enough. Youâre dying because you fed, or misplayed.
As I was saying⌠Blame game activated.
