Idea for a (kind of) new core game mode

I’ve heard a lot of people talking about how they’re getting tired of the 4 core game modes; Assault, Escort, Control, and Hybrid. Some friends and I thought “What if Hybrid maps were reversed so that you would push the payload up until you had to capture a control point?”

Imagine King’s Row:
Attackers start in what is normally Defenders’ last spawn, while Defender’s start in what is normally Attackers’ last spawn. Attackers push the payload through the regular checkpoints, and Defenders try to stop them. Once the payload gets to the area around the Bookstore, the Attackers have to capture the courtyard control point.

I’ll leave the spawn locations up to the devs, but I just wanted to throw this idea out there. I think it would be a fun way to mix up the flow of maps, and add something kind of new to the core map pool.

That’s not exactly innovative.

Never said it was innovative. I just want something kind of new for the core game modes.

There’s no new game mechanics. I fail to see how it could be considered a new core game mode.
