I'm done. I'm out

Hi there peeps,

I’ve been playing game since season 1. It’s been awesome. But it’s started to get incredibly boring. It’s no longer fun nor entertaining by any means.

It all started in this current season. Season 13… I really loved playing D.Va, Rein and Zenyatta. But this current season has just hit rock bottom for me. I’ve never had so many throwers, leavers, toxicity and out right ignorant people …

I played my last game last night and I’m done. I left a game when it was our turn on attack and the team just gave up all because we got rolled and didn’t regroup … it happens but theres always a chance you could win on a push and if not just try your best. But as you can guess it didn’t go that way … they threw and just picked all random hero’s and I just thought, enough is enough. I’m done.

I rarely make forum posts or ever complain but this has gotten to me right to the core. I just can’t stand the game. I’ve tried my hardest, I really have and I’m done.

I’ve gone from a decent 68% win rate on D.va right down to 25% this season. It’s a total mess. Only way I made up my SR or win rate was … as you might guess … is to play Brigitte to a lovely 75% win rate… I’m not complaining about her. I believe she’s balanced. It’s just you have her and win or don’t have her and lose. It’s a shame.

I’m doing better on support but I never climb with support due to the SR gain and loss. Like, within 4 games I’ll win 3 and get 20 SR then my forth I’ll loose and loose 25 SR. Feelsbadman right there. So I never climb playing support.

Don’t know where I’m going with all this now. I don’t know what else to do. I’m worn out and I only play 4 hours 3 times a week. God knows what other people feel when playing longer.

I’m done with Overwatch now unfortunately … just play to get my points and leave it at that.

Low Masters around 3.7SR for those that wanted to know.

Sorry for the rant.

Dude! Why you gotta be like that?

Be nicer.

I know its not. Just wish I was having more fun and wining like I used too. Was so close GM and can now barley stay in masters …

hes obviously not enjoying it. which is why he posted. go troll on reddit.

Even after two and a half years this is the game that I always come back to between games, out of any game that I have ever been a player of, this game has been the best value for money. If you feel that Overwatch is getting boring and repetitive, take a break, go play something else for a while, it will still be here when you get back.

Do you often complain to the people around you about the things that they don’t care about ?
Probably not

I’m not one who puts things nicely. Definitely not for somethhing like this.

The thing is man it’s just a game. The more that you force yourself the less that you’re going to enjoy about it.

It’s a shame but it just means that you weren’t skilled enough to stay in Gm even if you got there.

Yeah you’re right, it’s not my place to point out someone bad manners. My bad.

“Boring”,haha, funny way of saying “please remove brigitte”

You think having a character and that means you win and not having it means you lose means the hero is balanced? What?

A game is mean to be fun.
QP is a mess with 3 sniper each game.

Ranked is a mess with a broken SR system and thrower who never get ban def.

And, to many hero aren’t balance they’r some stupidly OP and some stupidly weak.

Also it’s a team game. But you’r punish if you play it like this.
A 6 stack of friend is gonna ruin the fun of QP solo player.
A 6 stack ranked is gonna earn so few point and lost a lot + most important, you can’t group up with friend cuz of SR difference which is stupid in a TEAM game.

OW is a mess right now, nothing fun, that why ppl stop playing it.

If overwatch is such a mess then why are you still able to quickly get into a match ?

You played a game for 40$ for 2,5 years, I’d say you got value out of that.

People get bored of everything after a while. On that basis we could assume that everything is sh_t.

I feel you and i fully understand. It is kinda sad 2 see another tank main leaving the game… Season 13 is indeed terrible and full of toxicity/throwers.

I understand the feeling. I’ve been feeling the same for quite a while too. Must be a tank main thing , maybe due to the fact that tanks dictate how the games goes, and losing one, well, feels like you’ve failed your entire team.

But I’ve also been getting lots and lots of throwers and leavers, yesterday, I played 6 games and won 2, the 4 I lost had either one or more leaver, or someone who was not even trying to hide he was throwing( and I’m not the kind to blame others for the loss, I know if I’m losing it usually is because I do something wrong)
This entire season and half the past season have been like this for me.

But you’re really close to GM, I believe in you, I do.

Yesterday, i had a game. A terrible game , where we had no supports for the entire first round, because he switched to bastion after the first 30 sec. We managed to bring the payload all the way to the end, and on second round, I switched off of rein to brig, and someone switched to ana, we managed to hold the payload not too far off first point.

By all means this should have been a loss. Any big mistake would cost us the game. We all knew it. We all played better than we ever played in our lives, and if I played like this every game, I would be top 1 by now.

Yes, games might suck and people might leave or throw, but take it not as a certain loss, but as a test of your skill. You might lose anyways but it doesn’t matter, it’s an opportunity to learn and grow as is every match. Hard games are hard, but they’re the games where you improve most

So keep on playing , record your gameplay and review it. The people who got to GM, the t500, the pro players, they all have these games. We all do, the difference between you and them is that they don’t give up, and they train hard. that’s all

Everyone can be GM. You just need some faith and hard work, as for everything in life

It is a game, it’s not a job.
