Intermittent latency spikes

I’m getting intermittent latency issues during matches. It’s been happening only for the past few weeks, before then it’s been fine. As I’m playing, my latency will go from 30-35ms to 60-90ms for 1-4 seconds. Everything will lag badly during this and start to rubberband.

I’ve checked my drivers, reset my router and AP, disabled my AV, and switched between wired and wireless. I’ve pasted a WinMTR capture below - this was during a MH match where the issue happened a lot.

Any further info please let me know.

Hello theyak330,

There’s potentially an issue with your local network. Having an average 7ms (and a worst 103) between your computer and your modem isn’t really normal. Please make sure plugging directly your computer with your modem/router with an ethernet cable without anything in between. If already on ethernet, try a different cable.

It could be caused by another program. Disabling them isn’t always enough, you should temporarily uninstall any program that could affect the connection if not tested yet.

If you don’t see any improvement, we’ll need your MSinfo and another MTR test. You can have the informations hosted on an external site such as Pastebin then provide the URLs here, in a preformatted text. Else, you can just submit a ticket with the files attached.
