Like should I feel like good for being in diamond or be ashamed of my 3.2k rating
It’s above average, so you can feel good. Or bad whatever your goal was.
I think low platin around 2500 is where most of the playerbase are, but I haven’t seen a good statistics about % in ranks the past few days.
wait is diamond like top 40% of the playerbase
Something like that yes
wow so how GM is top 1% that must be the best of the best
Like 1-3% and then you are with the best 500 players.
There is only 10% people in diamond, according to Jeff and Blizzard from February 2018.
But you are 2.7k. it’s plat .
2350 is 50% middle
2500 plat is therefore around top 40%
Diamond is top 15%
Master top 5%
GM top 1%
Not exact numbers but easier to remember.
Youre definetly good if youre above diamond , but at same time youre miles and thousands of practice and learning hours away from the pros.
The goal of games is to have fun, so you can feel good, just dont expect or get frustrated if youre not meeting seagull in your ques.
Diamond i think is top 15%. 4k, aka GM, is somewhere between 1-2%

When I recently got to diamond for the first time, it was just like another game, sure it felt nice but nothing like going from gold to plat. Gold was so annoying. Then I got to plat and realised it’s almost identical to gold lol
