Is Reinhardt rework coming or not?

The most bugged hero in the game certainly could use some attention.

It’ll come after OWL Season 2… they need extra time to make sure his new Earth Shatter never catches a Double-Jumping Genji or a Blinking Tracer.

Can’t have that happen.

I don’t see why he needs a rework. Bug fixes are all he needs.

^ This. He doesn’t need a re-work, he just needs bug fixing.

Remove him. He is awful to play against, awful to play as, one of the best snowballing heroes and extremely easy to boot. Kinda funny something like Genji is complained about but never this bastard.

they have been trying to bug fix him, and they have found that his basic code is broken. so they are re building him from the ground up. i pretty sure all his ability’s are going to be the same.

not sure what bustar is talking about at all tho? rien has easy mechanics but the weight of every decision is so high. even a small error can wipe your team. i also think rien is the most fun tank not only to play but also to play ageist, even more so if you are the opposing rien …let the rien games begin!

The only “weight of heavy decision” is when to charge. Thats all. Boy, I sure want to have this “to right click or not to right click, this is the question” for every hero I play.

Boy, you better be glad that you don’t play Rein. That shiny badge would be looking a lot more Silver if you did.

Excuse me while I aim at things while the rest of you walk around with your finger glued to the right mouse button.

that’s just like saying widow just needs to click heads… you are just boiling rien down to such a basic form.

Yeah, I don’t play Rein, nice try. And again, just because that’s what you do on Rein, doesn’t mean that all Rein players are that bad.

also shield is a valuable resource if you hold it up to long you lose it, if you are not swinging you gain no ult and you are not contributing, also you are walking very slowly and your team is most likely getting picked apart… have you ever played rien?

He literally has less than one hour on Rein. Not sure why he feels qualified to talk about how to play him.

Why not? What is that exact skillful thing he does? Thats right, nothing. He is as good as his teammates and as good as his enemies’ picks. Have some healers and a zarya attached to him and watch him plow with left clicks. Have him against 3+ dive heroes and watch him be completely worthless no matter how analytically strong, strategically sound and observant his operator is. This is what pisses me off the most, Reinhardts who think protecting from the front actually helps the team when it doesn’t.

Such a joke hero.

you herd it here first folks bustar would be the next fissure, doesnt play rien tho cus he is a joke…

You show off your close-mindedness by answering your own question with your sheer ignorance. There’s no point trying to explain it to you, because you probably don’t have the attention span to do anything else in game but point and click.

Have any of you ever wondered why he was non-existent during the dive and a tier 1 pick during the current meta without any buffs and nerfs? Because he depends on his team or the enemy team, not on the skill of the player.

Keep telling yourself he requires more skill than Mercy though.

“This character gets countered by a meta! What a joke hero! No skill! Entirely team dependant! My whopping 58 minutes of play time qualifies me to talk about in intricacies, or lack thereof, of the character!”

I should just learn to stop feeding the trolls.

I mean its all nice to go for personal attacks when you don’t have any way of explaining why your point is right. Its fine, you are here, you are arguing, you are showing off, please keep doing this, it brings you pleasure I am sure.

But hey “countered” did catch my eye. Reinhardt’s concept is pretty much based entirely around picking him in the right situation because he cant do anything against a whole bunch of characters. Like absolutely anything unless they get in his range or shoot his shield. The fact that the meta became his playground is the perfect example of this.

If a character is so dependent on meta and picks his skill ceiling must be somewhere in the basement.
