Anyone played it? Thoughts?
Smite, 3rd person moba game? I played it over 1000 hours, at casual level tho (Arena mostly). The playerbase dropped a lot since early seasons of the game. It feels like they are releasing more skins rather then content for the game. The game is free on steam or stand-alone launcher, you can give it a try any time you want. Try it for yourself and see if it’s your cup of tea.
Word of advice : I don’t play competitive, so I cant tell you how it works, but in other modes, it’s the same mindset as QP overwatch: When you point their mistakes, people will most likely tell you “It’s just casual game” regardless if they are feeding their soul out going 0 kills/10 deaths,which results enemy gaining more gold > stronger items > stomp effect.
If you decide to play, I would definitely recommend God pack. It unlocks every released and future God they release. Instead of grinding your heart out for specific characters, you have everything unlocked. Might want to buy it when it goes on sale. Good luck.

Aint the servers closing down?
As far as I’m aware - No. I know Australian’s server is having an issue since not many players are playing, which results in extremely long queue times, especially if you’re not playing in prime time,other then I don’t know what do you mean by closing down?
I just heard servers were closing but in fairness tbat might have just been for hand of gods etc.
Ended up watching crap tv all night and not trying it, I feel like I can’t face overwatch at the moment after what they have done to it.
Exactly, they are closing Hand of Gods (that card game).
I play smite every now and then, mostly on arena. The game looks good, though there is something lacking that doesn’t make me stick to the game. Maybe i am just lacking friends to play with, idk.
Btw, is paladins worth playing? I haven’t played OW since they destroyed and then burnt the soul of mercy so maybe i could get into hero shoters again.
Just play the real thing, which is Dota 2. It’s a fantastic game.
If I wasn’t too old I would try to get into the game but it needs a lot of time to get any good at it.

Yeah but Dota is quite deep. I would dare even say it’s a game like no other. You won’t be good at it after 3 months.
