I am saving up for a gaming PC and want to transfer my save file will it be there already because I have linked my battle net account to the PS4 version or can I get the save file and transfer it to PC?
You won’t be able to take anything with you. Different platform, everything is different. (exept both need power)
You’ll start a new account from lvl 1 without any skins or anything.
Everytime someone asks this, they get informed about the Plattform and that you can’t copy or transfer anything.
Destrolock is correct. Your progress will always be bound to the platform you’ve played on, and as a result, transferring your data between them is not possible.
In case you start asking yourself why you should link your console account to your Blizzard account in the first place, here are some of the perks you get:
- Access to the official community forums
- Claim cross-promotional items from your Origins/GOTY/Legendary Edition
- Earn League Tokens and other drops by watching livestreams
- Better assistance from Blizzard Customer Support

if that’s not possible, then how did Epic Games do it with Fortnite? in my opinion, I think Blizzard does not care about its consumers since Mercy rework.
Sooo… if i make a game that features crossplay…
Everyone needs to do it… Bc it’s possible.
(the technical part doesn’t matter!!! Bc i did it before.)
Why is ow not cross platform other games did it.
Why is ow not pay to win? Other games are.
Why is ow not fsk 18? Other games are.
Why are we not all top500 others are?
Why do we make such assumptions if we’re not even knowing how exactly blizzards own engine etc. Works? Yeah bc others did it with complete different things.
Other games like from ea would charge 20$ per skin and 50 per hero why doesn’t ow do that?
EA is doing it too.
I would understand this if ow was produced by epic games or at least running the same engine…
Or coded in the same way…
Ofc it’s just bc the company doesn’t care it’s the only option.
