how is it possible that a single fresh account requires only one flawless win streak to call himself from a nobody perspective to a diamond player in overwatch? because we actually have people struggling to get out from silver or gold because of how exclusive it is to get out with an old account with lots of value with skins and experiences and i dont really think thats an fair assessment to make on advertising the ranks so vividly so to speak just because it never had any rank to begin with.
Thats why i think it would be a different approach if we simply just return back the old ranking system of overwatch 1 on that we simply start around a number that is between gold and silver and just slowly climb the ladder on how succesful your matches were because to me it just doesnt make sense to promote the idea of false advertisment on how difficult a rank like diamond is suppose to be if you can just easily scuff yourself with just a fresh new account and become diamond so quickly. even if its just temporarily.
it takes away the meaning of the rank and to be fair most players have been playing this game for a very long time. take that apart and what difficulty does it really represent? nothing.
whats the value in gold difficulty? no one knows.
whats the value in silver difficulty? no one knows.
my point about difficulty would be this, that people actually should know how to counter a game to make it more succesful for your group. if people dont do this, then what is the point in playing the game if you dont even know tactics?
the whole deep conversations about players in the game are people that brag about their ego instead of thinking with their brain making me even think that there is no difficulty to claim at all.
and if thats the case. what the point about bragging? and whats even the point about having a challenge??
i could simply play quickplay all day or competitve. there is no difference, really.
