I've been following Niandra's tips but still keep losing

As some of you may know, Niandra is one of the best Mercy players. As a Mercy Main I started watching her videos on YouTube. I realized that I should focus on damage boosting and getting better covers while healing my teammates.

But no matter how much I try, I cannot climb to Platinum and I am so close dropping back to Silver in years.

What do I do? I can only change myself but bad DPS players and lack of communication is not helping either.

Sometimes if you focus on playing one hero, you will stuffer from balance related struggles.

Like right now, Brig and Bap can do so much more for your team, if played well, than a Mercy.

With Mercy you will be very reliant on your team doing the heavy lifting, so if you get a bad group, or people just having a bad game your success is in their hands. Damage boosting someone who’s missing shots is always annoying.

Just don’t worry about your rank or SR. Make sure you see getting the maximum value out of every action you make. And have fun. After that there isn’t a huge amount you can do. Other than go battle Mercy kill everyone while screaming “fine, I’ll do it myself!!”

Streamers and high ranked players parrot what’s trendy and how they see things from the ideal perspective of the high ranked games they play. You know what actually works in low ranks? Keeping your special ed teammates alive more than the enemy supports can instead of trying to damage boost that 76 who may not land his shots or who may use his tacvisor, after 4 of your teammates are dead, to shoot the enemy’s double shields.
Also, judging by the

word you used yet you’re only silver border and judging by the fact that the season is almost over yet you’ve played only 9 hours of Mercy, what you need to do is play more and play hard, that’s the only way to get better. Pour time and effort.
Now, some basic advice:
Try to identify bad teammates from the beginning of the match. The guy who picked Hanzo when there’s no Zarya is a waste of time. The guy who got killed right out of spawn or the guy who just dashed in and instadied within 15 seconds of the start of the round are also a waste of time.
Heal/rez the teammates who seem to be able to breathe on their own without having anyone to remind them, those are the ones who’ll win you the game.
Never risk a death to help a teammate, remember that they aren’t worth it.

Such a positive attitude you have lol.

You sound like one of these people our mercy player shouldn’t help.

Help them improve, if they ask for advice. Don’t be weird.

Positivity is just for feels, it doesn’t win games.

I wouldn’t need his help because I play Mercy.

I did, it’s actually what I apply to my gameplay and I’ve been climbing on both this account and another one I have for backup.

Ooo multiple accounts. Go you.

You keep on climbing!!

You deserve to be in silver for saying that

Ive been following her to. I used her tips and tricks and it helped me. I hit mid plat. But unfortunalty. I ended up with players who thtowed the game after that. So im trying to fight my way up to plat again
The only tips i can give u is Go around in the mercy setting and find your specifick setting that works just for u. I did that and i improved a lot after that. Also try to use the corners as much as posible. And if the team track u down. Moved around your teamate. Keep track of your GA cooldown and fly as much as possible and tell your teammate that example a junkrate is on u.
