Jake OWWC Caster WTF - Blizz Hypocrisy

How come Jake is a caster in the OWWC when he has told another player to kill themselves?

Not only should he never have been in the OWL but why is he in the OWWC as well? We’re talking MEGA hypocrisy because Blizzard representatives have told me that it’s offensive to say that an AFK player is AFK…

There’s a major disconnect here… Calmly tell someone to kill themselves --> OWWC Caster, point out that a player is AFK --> ban upheld… The hell…

Looking at XQC’s suspension, there is a system: If you get suspended in the game, you get suspended in the OWL.

This has less to do with Blizzard being a “hypocrite” but rather Blizzard relying on a flawed report system.

Thats because pro scene in OW is a joke.

OW pro’s are a joke.

What? They’re literally endorsing Jake… I’ve brought it to their attention multiple times as well. They’re OK with players (or at least Jake OMEGALUL) telling others to kill themselves.

They need to fix this BS… They ban ppl for nothing and pay the ppl who are the most toxic… Great company!

Here is where your argument falls apart. We know that their suspension to the OWL is determined by penalties inside the game. Thus, we know Blizzards philosophy:

Players who got punished for violating the CoC shouldn’t be on the OWL

Now tell me where the hypocricy is. If Blizzard is a hypocrite, there should be proof that they are acting against that philosophy.

Are you serious?

He told someone to kill themselves, that’s clearly against their rules… Would you get off Blizzard’s D for just a minute?

Something can be reported is not the same as something should be reported.

Blizzard relies on a flawed report system. This means that people who got away with conduct breaking behavior, due to the flawed report system, won’t be penalized in the OWL.

I do prefer that Blizzard investigates on every OWL member on CoC breaking behavior because those “Pro players” are basically role models for the other players, especially the younger audience.

However, all we can do now is understand why this is ignored while other players get punished.

So, no, I’m not “on Blizzard’s D”. Unlike you, I’m thinking rationally and look for every possibility instead of being judgemental.

It’s not wrong because you’re reported for it, it’s wrong because it’s wrong. This has been brought to their attention multiple times but it’s been ignored. He should get perm banned rn.

Not with the current system they have. Right now, Quantity is more important than quality.

In order to make those people be banned, too, Blizzard has to change the report system first by making quality more important than quantity.

Until then, that guy just got away with it since last year.
