Indeed. Even if you dont kill the pharah ever and you force her out of the fight and eat her ults you have done enough to tilt the game to your advantage.
Cant argue with that, that is all common knowledge, but even if i can shoot another phara mid-flight with my Phara i cant shoot her with Dva
Well you stated that your not good with Dva and if you say that you cant shoot a pharah with dva it makes me believe you dont even know her kit.
With D’va should be easy. You get closer to where she is flying, then you dash to her, when you are closer to her you use your rockets + melee and she should be dead , unless she has some zen orb or a mercy pocketing her she’ll die only from that damage.
Think the main reason is that i just cant find her in the sky, that stupid “in flight” overlay of Dva is not making it easy for me…
I was victim of Dva as phara more than enough times, I know what it can do
You just need to practice that a bit then and it will get easy

Tried that as well, unless you make perfect picks for at least 1 fight (as they notice it) your team might break up simply because tank switched to widow.
And Im not that good widow…
My mains are Rein/Orisa/Hog in tanks and Phara/Soldier/junk in DPS, rarely zen as heal
Well till you get better with DVA or /and a hitscan then the only advice I can give you is to relay on your team and ask for someone else to deal with the phara /widow if it is the case.
Well, that hits a brick wall when nobody wants/is able to…
and the over reliance on the team is so frustrating when you cant do a thing, only get stomped.
When somebody does deal with them Its usually not that hard to win (or generally play a good game).
Bridgit can make havoc in recent games because ppl are still not aware of her stun and dmg, but that is new, Widow/phara are in the game from start.

Well some of the games are lost no matter what you do. Some games are won no matter what you do. And sure it can be frustrating, but its a team game. If you want 2/2/2 with decent comps join a team that has 1 main tank 1 off tank 1 main heal 1 off heal 1 hitscan 1 projectile as main roles. If you expect that from every game with randoms good luck.
not from every game, one in 10 might be that good, other may be mediocre, but if you have 9/10 with nothing resembling teamwork it can get irritating very quickly.
and im not really expecting anything anymore, When I play overwatch I try to be as soulless as it can be, like a automaton withou emotions. because im not paying for another 24" LCD, that much is not worth for one good anger relief.

It’s these reasons that I leave comp games, I give a feck about Sr but if I’m gonna loose a game because my team can’t be flexible in picks is a joke I’ll just leave and play arcade because at least the madness makes sense there
now I mostly play orisa in 80% of my games because A. I like playing her and B. orisa works in almost any situation, from attacking, pushing a payload or just defending, now if im where I need to be, I have my shield up my gun firing, and then I’m shot in the back because my godamn team is floating around the map trying to get kills not push objectives, so if that’s not working maybe i swap to dva or another healer like Ana or Lucio and try and help the team out, if we need more damage or need to disrupt the enemy team I’ll play doomfist or sombra, and if we ever have a troublesome shield in the way, swap to a bastion and make it irrelevant, oh but wait what’s that, we have a widowmaker on attack with no kills and she won’t swap off, our Genji thinks it’s 1v6 and my Hanzo is sat so far off the payload he’s almost back at base, but it’s cool cos he got a really cool headshot, like basso said, gotta be my fault for not carrying the game…
I was going to replace it with a gaming 144hz anyway. It was old. But at that time it felt great. After -500 SR I just unplugged it and smashed it with all force, almost going right through the LCD panel. Than threw it across the room and stomp on it a few times before finishing it with hammer in the trash bin. After that the whole weekend was great.
I keep some boxes around for when I feel like destroying something will calm me. I’m not insane. It works great for me. I only regret I don’t have any yard with wood to chop when I’m mad.
Widow in attack is what I prefer most, she has more room to move around unlike when she is in defense . And she can pick better angles in order to shoot the enemy team. I’ll give you an example, yesterday i was in attack on Lunar Colony map, i picked widow, (enemy team had moira, mercy, orissa, rein, junk and i don’t know what else). 2 mins of the game I didn’t get a single kill, then I had an angle open for the point as they were fighting vs my team on the right side , took down both the enemy healers (mercy 1st and then moira), told my team to push in and that won us the game. See I didn’t have to do more than that as widow.
Don’t have a problem with widowmaker in general, just when she gets picked, is useless and won’t swap off for something more useful, good widows are the exception not the rule and just because you can get some sweet headshots while grappling doesn’t make her a viable pick in every game with every player, and yet I see people whiffing shots, being abused on the backline, or just wasting time searching for the next position to stand stock still in, and still refuse to change, don’t care in QP, in comp it’s a diff matter, if your a useful widow though, you do you.
Also lol that’s just the exception of a game also, one match, how many games have you lost because you were widow?
Won 20 , lost 18 , 2 tied. Some which i lost were because i didn’t get healed cuz " i was widow" . Some my team didn’t follow through when i called it out . And the one that was the worst was i took down almost the entire enemy team , they had 1 tank and 1 healer on the point, yet my other 5 team mates weren’t able to capture the point. So you see even if you are the best player you don’t win all games. ( and i don’t consider myself the best widow there is , i’m more like a normal player).
And there was this funny one, when I told my team that Mercy is dead , mercy is down (in the 1st minute of the fight), go in and i get replay for my team , “yes we need a mercy” .
I mean that’s kind of my point, if in a team game people don’t play as a team your more likely to lose despite the performance of one person, with the odd exception here and there
Well I always do that even if I pick widow, if I get my shots right or I see that my team has an advantage over the enemy team I call my team to push . But when they don’t listen yet they still blame me for my pick it kinda sux , but that doesn’t mean i was not playing to win ( or doing my best) or not playing as a team. So no matter how big my impact was on that X or Y game it would have been lost anyway , no matter what hero i would’ve played ( since you asked me how many games i lost playing widow).
