For Overwatch. EU as a region isn’t a thing. They use EMEA ((Europe, Middle East & Africa) which is commonly used in business).
They aren’t forcing anyone to play on NA. That is a choice you can make however.
KSA players intentionally block the MENA servers so they are being put into European servers, and as a EU player being put in a MENA lobby is the worst games you can imagine.
Cheating is normalized in the gulf states especially KSA players love to cheat, they do not even call each other out on it anymore. Just ask any Arab player who is region blocking MENA why he does it and you will often hear them say its because most of them use cheats.

There is no ME server anymore. It is in Finland.

GEN1 used to be the ME server… It is in Finland now though. Hamina to be precise. The other EU server is in Eemshaven, Netherlands
I am not pretending. I am literally looking at the list of Google data centres they use.
AMS1 is Eemshaven… that is where the Google data centre is.
GEN1 was Bahrain, it is now the denomination for Finland
CDG1 is long gone.
There is a Saudi server available in custom games, but that is GMEC2.
lol. I’m from the UK and play on AMS1 mostly. No need for the blatant xenophobia.
Studies suggest cheating as actually quite low in comparison in the ME. Where as it is at its highest in Russia, Italy and Israel (closely followed by Japan). Only the UAE was in the top 50 at that point in the survey. It is best not to let your biases against certain people cloud your judgement.
