Hello,
I play on a asus rog laptop with an external monitor (lid closed). After half a game my laptop goes into deep sleep. All settings in windows are sleep never. Any ideea what should i do? Overwatch is the only game doing this. I play starcraft 2 as well and never had any issues. Btw this issues started 2-3 days ago, never had a problem before that.
Hi.
Have you recently updated Windows 10 to the latest version of 1903?
Is your laptop’s power settings set to high performance? In the graphics card settings, too?
Hello,
Thanks for your answer. I was running build 1803 but in the meantime i updated to 1903 and updated to the last gpu drivers (geforce 970m). Unfortunately nothing changed. After 30 minutes of gameplay laptop goes to deepsleep all by itself. I dug a little deeper and checked the event logs and 2 seconds before the sleep event i get this event:
svchost (3824,G,98) The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000.
This is a repetitive event, i checked it on 3 different cases. This was before the update to build 1903. Now i get this:
svchost (3256,G,98) The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000.
I cant find anything relevant on the internet except the fact that everyone having this problem have on thing in common, laptop with lid closed and external monitor connected.
My power option is on high performance with sleep, hybrid sleep, hibernate set all to never.
Any ideeas? Im kind of desperate at this point couse i’ve ran out of ideeas how to slove this.
Maybe it would be a good idea to try a clean Windows installation?
